Arrests
* Cathy Elizabeth Hoard, 70, 204 Carl
Smith Road, was arrested Sunday night by Carter County Sheriff's
Department Sgt. Patrick Johnson on a warrant charging her
with aggravated assault. She is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court April 7.
* Lyle Blaze Bryson, 38, 111 Cannon Hill Drive,
was arrested Friday night by CCSD Deputy Dean Jones and charged
with seventh offense DUI, driving on a revoked license, violation
of the implied consent law and evading arrest. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court April 7.
* Terry Allen Guess, 48, 1419 Charity Hill Road,
was arrested early Sunday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson
and charged with first offense DUI and fleeing to avoid apprehension.
* Ronald Morris, 24, 1917 Powder Branch
Road, Johnson City, was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD
Sgt. Keith Range on a warrant charging him with violation
of probation.
* Sherwood Davis, 34, 1420 Southside Road, was
arrested Sunday morning by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on a warrant
charging him with violation of probation.
* Debbie Kay Norris, 45, 1420 Southside Road,
was arrested Sunday morning by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on a
warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Terry Allen Potter, 39, East Elk Avenue, was
arrested Sunday afternoon by Tennessee Constable Bobby Canter
on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in General
Sessions Court on charges of five counts of violation of an
order of protection, two counts of an order of protection,
seventh offense DUI, third offense driving on a revoked license,
two counts of public intoxication, theft, harassment, assault
under domestic violence and criminal trespassing.
* Timothy Blackwell, 33, Bud Street Lane, Hampton,
was arrested Sunday afternoon by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range and
served with an attachment pro corpus out of juvenile court.
* Maurice William Taylor, 29, 1100 E. Market
Street, Apt. 1, Johnson City, was arrested Friday afternoon
by CCSD Deputy Donald White on a warrant charging him with
violation of probation.
* Randall Wayne Blevens, 43, Treadway St., was
arrested early Saturday morning by Elizabethton Police Department
Sgt. Charles Moreland and charged with public intoxication.
* Donna M. Potter, 36, 266 Whaleytown Road, Butler,
was arrested Thursday afternoon by PTL Michael Merritt and
charged with DUI, violation of the implied consent law and
violation of the financial responsibility law. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Chad Lee Davis, 22, 112 South Watauga Ave.,
Apt. 1, was arrested Friday morning by EPD PTL Jason Shaw
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation. He
was also served with a criminal summons charging him with
criminal trespassing.
* Frankie M. Killen, 41, 308 Legacy St.,
was arrested Saturday afternoon by EPD PTL Brooke Mullins
and charged with DUI, driving on a revoked license, and violation
of the implied consent law. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court March 31.
* Todd L. Hicks, 25, 100 Milligan Highway, Apt.
18, was arrested by CCSD and EPD officers late Saturday night
and charged with assault under domestic violence and evading
arrest.
* Justin Pennington, 19, 2128 5th Street, Bristol,
Tenn., was arrested Thursday by Sullivan County Sheriff's
Department Lt. Bobby Russell and charged with burglary and
theft over $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court in Sullivan County today.
Theft
* Kenneth Condra, 1500 Powder Branch Road,
Johnson City, reported to CCSD Deputy Johnny Miller that sometime
Monday morning, someone stole his 1988 blue Chevrolet S-10
Blazer while it was parked in front of his residence. He reported
that he suspects a male subject known to him.
Vandalism
* Scott Vanhoy, 100 W. Chestnut St.,
Johnson City, reported to EPD PTL Brooke Mullins, that he
had parked his vehicle at Lyon's Field Saturday night and
when he returned to his vehicle on Sunday morning, he found
that the vehicle had been vandalized. According to reports
the passenger side window of the vehicle had been shattered.
Damage was also done to the passenger and driver side door
locks. Numerous scratch and gouge marks were found in the
vehicle's paint including a derogatory word which was scratched
into the trunk lid with a sharp object, according to the report.
