Arrests

   * Jack W. Hoss, 18, 1112 Stateline Road, was arrested early Friday morning by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with driving on a suspended license, violation of the vehicle registration law, violation of the financial responsibility law and the intent to go armed. He was also charged with improper passing, evading arrest, felony evading arrest and failing to adhere to a traffic control device by Carter County Sheriff's Department Constable Harvey Shaffer. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Monday.
   * Michael D. Whitehead, 24, 114 Rainbolt Lane, was arrested Thursday morning by EPD PTL Brooke Mullins and charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the financial responsibility law.
   * Cathy Patricia Caraway, 42, 5050 Goosecreek Lane, Lenoir, N.C., was arrested Thursday evening by CCSD Shannon Deloach on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court.
   * Paul Anthony Brock, 28, 113 George Bowers Lane, was arrested Thursday evening by CCSD Deputy Bradley N. Johnson and charged with driving on a suspended license. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Tuesday.
   * Charles Mack Thomas, 29, 410 E. Watauga Ave., was arrested late Thursday night by CCSD Deputy Fred Sluder on a warrant charging him with failure to appear in court.

Theft

   * Ronald Babb, 1300 Spruce Lane, Apt. E, reported to EPD PTL Jason Shaw that sometime Thursday evening, someone entered his residence and stole approximately $180 worth of personal property including jewelry and compact discs.
