Arrests
* Marcus Ashley, 29, 104 Huskins Hill
Road, was arrested early Thursday morning by Carter County
Sheriff's Department Deputy Eric Buck and charged with DUI,
violation of the implied consent law and possession of Schedule
VI narcotics. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court March 17.
* Jeffrey Allen Holtsclaw, 41, 808 East A St.,
was arrested late Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy Eric Buck
and charged with assault under domestic violence. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court March 17.
* Gadriel C. Shell, 29, 160 Dolan Hollow Road,
Roan Mountain, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy
Al Meehan and charged with first offense driving on a revoked
license. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court
March 25.
* Dwight Warren Burgess, 47, 516 Cottage Ave.,
was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Al Meehan
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation. He
is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Adrian S. Watkins, 30, 157 Cripple Creek Road,
was arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy J. Booher on
a warrant charging him with assault under domestic violence.
* Kevin Dewayne Cline, 38, 1307 Siam Road, was
arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable on a
warrant charging him with violation of an order of protection.
He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court March
24.
Theft
* Maria R. Tressler, 345 One Boote Campbell Road,
Milligan, reported to CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess that sometime
between March 9 and March 13, someone had broken into the
residence she was moving out of and had stolen more than $2,000
in personal property including a large amount of jewelry.
* Jessica R. Britt, 127 Fitzsimmons Hill Road,
reported to CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson that sometime Wednesday
night someone had stolen a Rampage brand detachable face stereo
from her 1988 Ford F-150 while it was parked at her residence.
The stereo is valued at $150.
* Hazel Berry and Mary Jo Hopkins, 1103 Arney
St., reported to CCSD Deputy Tom Skeans and Sgt. Patrick Johnson
that someone had broken into their residence and had stolen
several household items as well as several pieces of furniture.
They reported that they suspected a male subject known to
them.
* Kimberly D. Buckles, 134 Holston View Drive,
reported to CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable that sometime between
9:45 a.m. and just after noon on Wednesday, someone had broken
into her residence and stole a prescription medication belonging
to her.
* Brice E. Woodward, 1585 Powder Branch Road,
reported to CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable that sometime between
noon and 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, someone broke into an outbuilding
on his property and stole more than $800 in tools belonging
to him. He also reported that a 2000 Yamaha Wolverine All-Terrain
Vehicle had been stolen from his property that was valued
at $3,900.
