Arrests
* Douglas Arthur Barr, 22, 1108
Whitehouse Road, Greeneville, was arrested early Monday morning
by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Kenny Cornett
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* James Scott White, 20, 4260 U.S. Highway 19-E,
was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Eric Buck and
charged with possession of Schedule VI narcotics for resale
and criminal impersonation. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court March 17. He was also served with outstanding
arrest warrants out of Washington County charging him with
two counts of aggravated arson and three counts of failure
to appear in court.
* Ronnie Allen Huskins, 25, 165 Canah Hollow
Road, Erwin, was arrested early Saturday morning by CCSD Constable
Harvey Shaffer and charged with first offense DUI and violation
of the implied consent law. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court March 25.
* Terry Don Markland, 51, 2109 Dave Miller Road,
Johnson City, was arrested Saturday night by CCSD Deputy Tom
Skeans on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Dustin James Lyons, 19, 443 U.S. Highway 321,
Hampton, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Tom
Skeans on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Michael Arron Oaks, 20, 108 Jack Elliott,
Roan Mountain, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy
Tom Skeans on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Travis Michael Brandon, 18, 4260 U.S. Highway
19-E, was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Eric
Buck and charged with assault under domestic violence and
vandalism under domestic violence. He was also served with
an attachment pro corpus.
* Betty Jo Coleman, 29, 308 S. Watauga Avenue,
was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Fred Sluder on
a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Thomas Authur Mellons, 50, 5748 Fort Henry
Drive, Kingsport, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy
Tom Skeans on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Anna Hurst Osborne, 38, 1263 Bluefield Ave.,
Apt. C-6, was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy M. Carlock
on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Lester Blaine Birchfield, Jr., 49, 110 Minton
Hollow Road, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy
Todd Hamm and charged with disorderly conduct, two counts
of aggravated assault, going armed, resisting arrest and possession
of Schedule IV narcotics. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court today.
* Christopher Allen Vestal, 23, 220 Ed Green
Road, Hampton, was arrested Friday night by CCSD Deputy Sarah
Ryan on a capias warrant revoking his bond and on a capias
warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Steven Larry Street, 44, 117 High Tower Road,
was arrested Friday night by CCSD Constable Bobby Canter and
charged with first offense DUI and violation of the implied
consent law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court March 17.
* Billy J. Colbaugh, 61, 125 Meadow Lane, was
arrested Friday night by CCSD Constable Bobby Canter and charged
with public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court March 17.
* James Timothy Hubbard, 18, 611 Elm St., was
arrested Friday night by Elizabethton Police Department PTL
Tonya Range and charged with driving on a suspended license,
reckless driving and violation of the financial responsibility
law.
* Gary W. Barnett, 33, 322 Race St., Lot 2, was
arrested Friday morning by EPD PTL Shannon Peters on outstanding
warrants charging him with two counts of obtaining narcotics
by fraud. He was also served with two attachments charging
him with failure to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court today.
* Katherine Sue Saults, 48, 1270 Bluefield
Ave., Apt. A115, was arrested Saturday afternoon by EPD PTL
Tonya Range and charged with public intoxication.
Theft
* Michael Warren Taylor, 113 Palms Lane,
reported to CCSD Deputy Rebecka Bowers that on March 5, someone
had stolen a tool box belonging to him from his truck while
it was parked at his residence. The estimated value of the
toolbox and tools is $600.
* Sherry Carrier, 268 Dry Branch Road, reported
to CCSD Deputy Albert Nave that on Sunday, a male subject
known to her had stolen 20 guns from her residence. No description
or further information is available about the guns.
* Joann Bond, 213 First Ave., Hampton, reported
to CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy that on Sunday, someone broke into
her residence and stole a pocket book containing more than
$130 in cash, several credit cards and a prescription medication
belonging to her. She reported that she suspects three male
subjects known to her.
* Kenneth Ray Harrison, 184 Byers Road, reported
to CCSD Constable Jerry Miller on Sunday that someone had
entered his garage and had stolen a McCullock chain saw, a
McCullock gas-powered weed eater and five ET mag wheels. The
estimated value for the stolen property is $900.
* Jeff McKinney, 251 Long Hollow Road, reported
to CCSD Deputy Rebecka Bowers on Sunday afternoon that sometime
after 8 p.m. on Saturday, someone entered his 1999 Ford extend
cab truck and had stolen approximately $1,300 in tools including
several sets of wrenches, a Fluke Volt Meter, a Craftsman
cordless drill and a Milwaukee brand Sawzall.
