Arrests
* Robert T. Wright, 53, 123 Muse St., was arrested
Wednesday afternoon by Carter County Sheriff's Department
Deputy Jim Whaley and charged with public intoxication, possession
of drug paraphernalia, disorderly conduct and leaving the
scene of an accident with property damage. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Elizabeth Sue Godsey, 38, 130 Browns Branch
Road, Hampton, was arrested early Saturday morning by Elizabethton
Police Department Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with third
offense DUI.
* Jonathan Ward Marino, 36, Richmond, Va., was
arrested late Saturday night by EPD Sgt. John Ramsey and charged
with DUI, violation of the open container law and disorderly
conduct.
* Kenneth Lee Oliver, 38, 259 Dotson Lane, Mountain
City, was arrested on the night of Feb. 28 by EPD Sgt. John
Ramsey and charged with public intoxication.
* Hung X. Dieu, 28, 149 Caraville Drive, Johnson
City, was arrested early Thursday morning by CCSD Deputy Dean
Jones and charged with assault under domestic violence and
possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court March 11.
* Laura Lynn Largent, 24, 211 Greenbriar Drive,
Hampton, was arrested early Thursday morning by CCSD Sgt.
Patrick Johnson on a warrant charging her with violation of
probation.
* Randy Keith Oaks, 35, 104 Nave St., Lot 1,
Hampton, was arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Sgt. Patrick
Johnson on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Bobbie Rae Collins, 28, 309 S. Sycamore St.,
was arrested Wednesday evening by CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation. He
is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Michael Dewayne Lafollette, 19, 912-B Pineridge
Circle, was arrested Wednesday by CCSD Constable Bobby Canter
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Philip Steve Presnell, 19, 225 Beasley St.,
was arrested Wednesday by CCSD Constable Bobby Canter on a
warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Charles Daniel Million, 33, 119 Renee Drive,
Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy
Sarah Ryan and charged with aggravated DUI. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court March 18.
Theft
* Heather Richardson, 2686 U.S. Highway 91, reported
to CCSD Lt. B.L. Huffman that sometime between 6 a.m. and
2:30 p.m. on Wednesday that someone entered her residence
and stole a computer, printer, fax machine, copier, a cordless
phone and a mailbox. An estimated value for the property taken
was not available.
* Michelle C. Hilton, 109 Oscar Banks Road, Apt.
17, Johnson City, reported to CCSD Deputy Kevin Cable that
sometime between 11:30 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Wednesday, someone
entered her residence and stole some furniture belonging to
her including a sectional couch and a sofa table. The estimated
value of the furniture that was taken was $1,300.
* Jeffery Lynn Campbell, 1484 Milligan Highway,
Apt. 19, reported to EPD PTL Mike Commons that sometime between
3:30-5 a.m. on Wednesday, someone stole his 1995, white, Ford
Explorer.
* Pam Ford, an employee of West Elk Citgo, reported
to EPD PTL Michael Sproviero that sometime either on the night
of Feb. 28 or in the early morning hours of March 1, someone
pried open the lock of an air compressor machine located at
the business and stole approximately $60 from it. An estimated
$150 in damage was done to the machine.
