Arrests
* Sharhonda Nicole Johnson, 25, of North Carolina,
was arrested Tuesday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department
Deputy Charlotte Walker on a warrant charging her with violation
of probation.
* Cheryl Lynn Sandoval, 25, 315 Reynolds Road,
was arrested Tuesday night by CCSD Constable Harvey Shaffer
on an outstanding warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Janie Kensor, 49, 99 Milligan Lane, Johnson
City, was arrested Tuesday morning by CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian
and charged with filing a false report. She is scheduled to
appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Steven M. Ware, 47, 1086 Rittertown Road, Hampton,
was arrested Monday morning by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range on two
outstanding capias warrants charging him with failure to pay
court fines and costs and failure to appear on court charges.
* Benny Phillips, 45, 104 Murphy Private Drive,
Watauga, was arrested Monday morning by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Jeffery Edward Caudill, 37, 606 Lamont St.,
Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy
Tom Skeans on a warrant charging him with failure to appear
in court.
* Michael Robert Tussler, 22, 120 Reeser Road,
Apt. 50, Johnson City, was arrested early Wednesday morning
by CCSD Constable Harvey Shaffer on a warrant charging him
with violation of probation.
*Estel Vaughn Carrier, 48, 268 Dry Branch Road,
was arrested Tuesday evening by CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley and charged
with assault under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court March 11.
* Patricia Annette Moffitt, 26, 136 Sneed Hill
Road, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by CCSD Constable Harvey
Shaffer on an outstanding warrant charging her with failure
to appear in court.
* Melinda Roll, 32, 613 Clark St., was arrested
Tuesday morning by CCSD Constable Harvey Shaffer and charged
with public intoxication.
* Charles Mack Thomas, 29, 410 E. Watauga Ave.,
was arrested early Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Charlotte
Walker on outstanding warrants charging him with failure to
appear in court and violation of probation.
* Michael Adam Cipy, 39, 175 Parkway, Gatlinburg,
was arrested Tuesday night by CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley on an attachment
for contempt of court out of Circuit Court.
Theft
* Harry N. Adams, 510 Johnson Ave., reported
to Elizabethton Police Department PTL Shannon Peters that
on Tuesday, a female subject had stolen his wallet from him.
He reported that approximately $170 in cash was in the wallet
at the time it was stolen.
* Greg Maupin, owner of Maupin's Shell Station,
101 East Elk Ave., reported to EPD Sgt. John Ramsey on Sunday
that sometime during the early morning hours on Sunday or
sometime the previous night, someone had stolen a coin operated
Ecco Air Compressor machine from the business. The machine
is valued at $1,700.
* Tom Isaacs, owner of a car wash located at
510 Railroad St., reported to EPD Sgt. John Ramsey on Monday
that sometime between 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. that day that someone
had vandalized two meters at the carwash and had stolen a
third. Also, entry was attempted to the change machine but
was not gained, according to the reports. The total estimated
cost of the damaged and stolen property is $2,700.
* James Milsaps, 828 Hickory St., reported to
EPD Sgt. John Ramsey that sometime between mid-January and
Sunday, someone had broken into the basement of his residence
and had stolen more than $3,100 in property belonging to him
including six fishing poles, a Sony 35 inch television, two
Coleman lanterns, a Coleman sleeping bag, two Coleman camp
heaters and various tools.
