Arrests
* Chris Clayton Hicks, 24, 527 Laurel Road, Johnson
City, was arrested Thursday just before noon by Carter County
Sheriff's Department Investigator Laverne Julian and charged
with possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to
appear in General Sessions Court on March 3.
* Todd Lee Hicks, 25, 527 Laurel Road, Johnson
City, was arrested Thursday just before noon by CCSD Investigator
Laverne Julian and charged with driving on a suspended license.
He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on March
3.
* Michael Lee Carr, 23, 132 Sand Mine Road, was
arrested Thursday evening by CCSD Deputy Larry Perry on a
warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Roy Walter Holtsclaw, 40, 203 Buck Mountain
Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD
Deputy Greg Nave on a warrant charging him with failure to
appear in court on charges of public intoxication and possession
of drug paraphernalia.
* Michelle Lea Colon, 28, 1248 Bluefield Ave.,
Apt. K-3, was arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Greg
Nave on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court
on charges of driving on a suspended license and violation
of the financial responsibility law.
* Tauika Lea Shell, 20, 148 Old Rock Quarry Road,
Roan Mountain, was arrested Friday morning by CCSD Deputy
Donald White on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Charles Douglas Franklin, 20, 1011 Antioch
Road, Johnson City, was arrested Friday by Johnson City Police
Bureau Inv. Keith Jeffers and charged with auto burglary and
theft under $500. Franklin is currently being held in the
Washington County Detention Center in lieu of a $2,000 bond.
A preliminary court date has been set for Tuesday in General
Sessions Court.
* Two juvenile males were arrested Friday by
Johnson City Police Bureau Inv. James Stinnett and charged
with aggravated burglary and evading arrest following an incident
that occurred at 2103 Indian Ridge Rd. #19, Johnson City.
The two juveniles were placed on house arrest until a disposition
hearing March 12 in Juvenile Court.
Theft
* Robert Cox, 109 Stillwater Circle, reported
to CCSD Lt. Bob Hooks on Thursday that sometime that day or
the previous day, someone had stolen 11 fishing poles from
the back porch of the residence. The value of the fishing
poles was unknown at the time of the report. Cox reported
that he suspects three male subjects known to him.
Death
* Officers of Johnson City Police Bureau are
investigating the death of Edward Emory Sisson, 40, 123 W.
Millard St., after police were called to 2406 N. Roan St.
around 9:40 a.m. The investigation is continuing.
