Arrests
* Terry Alan Dout, 35, 180 Ingram Branch
Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Sunday evening by Carter
County Sheriff's Department Constable Harvey Shaffer and charged
with second offense DUI, violation of the implied consent
law, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended
license.
* Harold Walter Stevens, 33, 1907 Roaring Creek
Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Monday evening by CCSD Deputy
Bradley Johnson on a capias warrant out of Criminal Court
charging him with failure to appear.
* Kenneth Ray Walker, 38, 500 Hummingbird Drive,
Unicoi, was arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy
on warrants out of General Sessions Court charging him with
violation of probation.
* Robert A. Presnell, 69, 240 Wilbur Dam
Road, was arrested Monday evening by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range
and charged with DUI. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court on March 3.
* Stephen E. Green, 47, 223 Short Coal Shute
Road, was arrested Monday night by CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm and
charged with assault under domestic violence and violation
of an order of protection. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court on March 3.
* Ricky Melvin Helton, 35, 827 Conklin Road,
was arrested Monday morning by Elizabethton Police Department
PTL Shannon Peters and charged with theft over $1,000.
* Jeffrey Charles Robinson, 31, 2030 Bulldog
Road, Trade, was arrested early Tuesday morning by EPD Sgt.
John Bailey and charged with theft under $500. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court on Feb. 21.
* John Wayne Holman, 36, 100 Modock Road,
Trade, was arrested early Tuesday morning by EPD Sgt. John
Bailey and charged with theft under $500. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court on Feb. 21.
Theft
* Christy Hicks, 214 Rockhouse Road, Lot 22,
Johnson City, reported to CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on Monday that
sometime earlier that day, someone had stolen her medication
out of her vehicle as it was parked at her residence.
* Dawn Cook, 750 Hampton Creek Road, Roan Mountain,
reported to CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach that sometime between
Saturday and Monday, someone had entered her residence and
stole a lock box which contained the titles to three vehicles,
insurance papers, jewelry and her income tax return check.
* Ken Estep, of AAA Title Loans, reported to
EPD PTL Jennifer Mayberry on Monday that sometime between
Saturday and Monday, someone had broken into a 1992 white
Eagle Talon which was parked on the premises and had stolen
a Pioneer AM/FM CD stereo valued at $350.
