Arrests
* Scott Lynn Perry, 34, 196 Grindstaff
Hollow Road, was arrested Wednesday morning by Carter County
Sheriff's Department Deputy Al Meehan and charged with DUI,
driving on a revoked license and violation of the implied
consent law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court March 7. Later Wednesday evening he was arrested by
CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a warrant charging him with failure
to appear in Criminal Court. He is scheduled to appear in
Criminal Court on that charge today.
* Melinda M. Tanner, 19, 1298 Bluefield Ave.,
Apt. CD114, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by Elizabethton
Police Department PTL Mike Commons on warrants charging her
with indecent exposure and coercion of witnesses. She is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Misty D. King, 28, 305 W. Main St., was arrested
Wednesday morning by EPD PTL Michael Sproviero and charged
with theft over $500. She is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court today.
* Stevie I. Estep, 43, 223 Jim Deal Road, was
arrested Wednesday evening by EPD PTL Michael Merritt and
charged with speeding, second offense driving on a revoked
license and violation of the financial responsibility law.
He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
* Laura O. Johnson, 41, 223 Jim Deal Road, was
arrested Wednesday evening by EPD PTL Michael Merritt on an
outstanding warrant charging her with failure to appear in
court.
* Michael D. Lafollette, 19, 912 Pine Ridge Circle,
was arrested Thursday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy, Sgt. Penny Cornett
and Deputy Shannon Deloach on a warrant charging him with
violation of probation. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court today.
* Cathy Patricia Caraway, 42, Lenoir, N.C., was
arrested Wednesday evening by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a
warrant charging her with failure to appear in court. She
is scheduled to appear in Criminal Court today.
* Jamie L. Miller, 20, 104 Nave St., Lot 3, Hampton,
was arrested Wednesday evening by CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach
on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Bryan Parlier, 27, 517 Washington Ave., was
arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan on a warrant
charging him with violation of probation.
* Ryan Michael Mathes, 20, 1015 Idlewylde Circle,
Johnson City, was arrested early Thursday morning by CCSD
Deputy Shannon Deloach and charged with driving on a suspended
license. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court
Feb. 18.
Theft
* Molly Lingerfelt, 250 Fiddlers Branch Road,
Hampton, reported to CCSD Deputy Dean Jones that sometime
between Feb. 5 and Feb. 12, someone broke into her residence
and stole nearly $4,000 in personal property, including a
Wolfe tanning bed, an RCA television, an Emerson VCR and several
items of jewelry. Lingerfelt stated that she was out of town
at the time the incident occurred.
* Daniel F. Mooneyham, 176 Tester Road, Hampton,
reported to CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson on Wednesday that someone
had been using his credit card without his permission. Mooneyham
showed the officer statements from the credit card company
along with documentation that he was out of the state at the
time the purchases were made. He reported that he suspects
a female subject known to him.
* Felecia Blevins, 264 Rocky Branch Road, reported
to CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley on Wednesday that someone had entered
her residence within the last week and stolen several boxes
of NASCAR collectibles and children's clothing. She reported
that she suspects a male subject known to her.
Animal Cruelty
* Connie Ellis-Graham, 147 Old Lacy
Hollow Road, reported to CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley on Wednesday
that someone had killed her dog, a brown, medium sized Chow
mix. According to reports, the dog appears to have been poisoned.
