Arrests
* Shelia Dawn Ferguson, 38, 124 Treadway St.,
was arrested Friday afternoon by Carter County Sheriff's Department
Deputy Fred Sluder on a warrant charging her with violation
of probation.
* Rachel Jean Stout, 22, 602 Rittertown Road,
was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff
on a warrant charging her with failure to appear in court.
* Karrie Nikki Parlier, 23, 517 Washington Ave.,
was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff
on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* James G. Surber, 47, 2103 Indian Ridge Road,
Johnson City, was arrested Sunday afternoon by CCSD Lt. Rocky
Croy on three outstanding warrants charging him with DUI,
driving on a revoked license and leaving the scene of an accident.
He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Feb. 18.
* Michael Allen Smith, 41, 126 Cedar Grove Road,
Johnson City, was arrested early Sunday morning by CCSD Deputy
Kenneth Cornett and charged with vandalism under domestic
violence.
* Dylan Matthew Roupas, 26, 2909 Chathen Drive,
Johnson City, was arrested Sunday morning by CCSD Deputy Tammy
Stout on two outstanding warrants charging him with violation
of probation and failure to appear in court.
* David Shawn Wright, 34, 139 Mine Hollow Road,
Roan Mountain, was arrested Friday evening by CCSD Deputy
Tammy Stout on an outstanding warrant out of Criminal Court
charging him with failure to pay fines and court costs and
on a capias out of General Sessions Court charging him with
failure to appear.
* Betty Vaughn McKeehan, 50, 306 Watauga Ave.,
was arrested Saturday evening by CCSD Deputy Tammy Stout on
a warrant charging her with failure to pay court costs and
fines.
* Robbie Wayne Shelton, 31, 624 Shell Creek Road,
Roan Mountain, was arrested Friday night by CCSD Deputy Bradley
Johnson on a warrant charging him with failure to pay fines
and court costs.
* Tony D. Arnold, 38, 154 Ollie Collins Road,
was arrested Saturday evening by CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan and
charged with violation of the habitual motor vehicle offender
law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Feb.

* Teni Turner, 34, 154 Ollie Collins Road, was
arrested Saturday evening by CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan on a warrant
charging her with violation of probation.
* Robert Burchell Hammett, 50, 508 Trudy St.,
was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Fred Sluder
on two outstanding warrants both charging him with failure
to pay court costs and fines.
* Fred Lee Vittatoe, 32, 202 Reedy Creek Road,
Blountville, was arrested Friday afternoon by CCSD Deputy
Chad Grindstaff on a warrant charging him with violation of
probation.
* John Paul Smith, 31, 1140 Spears Ave., was
arrested Saturday evening by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff on
a warrant charging him with failure to pay court costs and
fines.
* Jack William Hoss, 18, Stateline Road, was
arrested Sunday by officers from the Elizabethton Police Department
and charged with driving on suspended license, possession
of drug paraphernalia and violation of the financial responsibility
law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Feb.

* Donna Sue Vaughn, 40, 107 Roosevelt Ave., was
arrested early Sunday morning by EPD PTL Mike McIntosh and
charged with DUI and contributing to the delinquency of a
minor. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court
Feb. 14.
* Richard Hathaway, 43, 610 Westwood Drive, was
arrested Saturday evening by EPD PTL Mike McIntosh on a capias
warrant out of Chancery Court charging him with failure to
appear.
* Calvin Smith, 40, 102 Borderview Ave., was
arrested Sunday morning by EPD PTL Jennifer Mayberry and charged
with vandalism under domestic violence.
* Jennifer Andrews Montgomery, 25, 1110 Park
St., was arrested Saturday night by EPD PTL Tonya Range and
charged with first offense driving on a suspended license,
violation of the financial responsibility law and violation
of the vehicle registration law.
Theft
* Leonard Scott Beattie, an employee of Milligan
College, reported to EPD PTL Jennifer Mayberry on Saturday
afternoon that sometime after 10:30 p.m. the previous night,
someone entered the college science building and stole nearly
$2,500 in property including lab equipment.
