Arrests
* Kelvin G. Moffett, 37, 1607 Burgie St.,
was arrested Wednesday afternoon by Elizabethton Police Department
Sgt. John Bailey and charged with two counts of fraudulent
use of a credit card. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court Feb. 10.
* Jerry W. Gill, 23, 1074 Tiger Creek Road, Hampton,
was arrested Wednesday morning by EPD PTL Michael Merritt
and charged with sixth offense driving on a revoked license,
speeding, violation of the financial responsibility law and
violation of the vehicle registration law. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court Feb. 7.
* Leanna Ruth Whitehead, 25, 130 Lick Branch
Road, was arrested early Thursday morning by Carter County
Sheriff's Department Sgt. Patrick Johnson and charged with
possession of Schedule III narcotics, possession of a legend
drug and public intoxication.
* Elroy Eugene Watkins, 32, 2202 Indian
Ridge Road, Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday afternoon
by CCSD Deputy Donald White on a warrant charging him with
violation of probation. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court Feb. 7.
* Kenneth R. Estep, Jr., 47, 182 Davis Hollow
Road, was arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson
and charged with first offense DUI. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court Feb. 11.
* Benjamin Zeb Taylor, 26, 144 Lick Branch Road,
was arrested early Thursday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson
and charged with public intoxication.
* Alvin Delaney Clawson, 31, 317 Bear Branch
Road, was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Al Meehan
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Billy Gene Stout, 25, 107 College St., Jonesborough,
was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Donald White
on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Billie Jean Long, 41, Lynnwood Apartments,
was arrested Thursday night by CCSD Deputy Charlotte Walker
on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Carolyn Mitchell, 34, Osborne Drive, Johnson
City, was arrested Thursday morning by officers from the Johnson
City Police Bureau and charged with aggravated assault.
