Arrests
* Johnny Conley Clark, 31, No. 16 Lambs
Park, Limestone, was arrested Monday night by Carter County
Sheriff's Department Sgt. Patrick Johnson on an outstanding
warrant charging him with violation of probation.
* Edna Rebecca Frazier, 30, 323 S. Main St.,
was arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Lt. Bob Hooks on an
outstanding warrant charging her with violation of probation.
* Benjamin Cole West, 29, 603 Watauga Ave., was
arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian and
Sgt. Audrey Covington on an outstanding capias charging him
with failure to appear in court on a charge of driving on
a revoked license.
* Travis Coy Wilson, 18, 668 Ohio Ave., was arrested
Monday afternoon by CCSD Lt. Bob Hooks on an outstanding warrant
charging him with violation of probation.
* Misty D. Crowther, 23, No. 6 Trivette Concourse,
Johnson City, was arrested early Monday morning by officers
of the Johnson City Police Bureau and charged with theft of
property over $1,500. The arrest stems from an investigation
into the theft of a 1986 Honda Accord from 3100 Timberlake
Road, Johnson City. She is scheduled to appear in Washington
County General Sessions Court Jan. 30.
Theft
* Sarah M. Sutherland, 225 Swimming
Pool Road, Hampton, reported to CCSD Deputy Tim Tester on
Monday afternoon that someone had broken into her vehicle
while it was parked at a residence at 113 Waycaster Road,
Hampton. She stated that the vehicle had been parked there
for approximately six months. According to reports, the passenger
side window of the 1986 Chevrolet Celebrity had been broken
out and a Sony CD player stolen. Also reported missing were
the vehicle's intake and carburetor. Residents at the home
on Waycaster Road stated that they had not noticed the damage
to the vehicle.
Traffic Accident
* Ricky Wayne Whitehead, 1028 Old Railroad
Grade, Roan Mountain, reported to CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley that
while his 1994 Honda was parked at The Game Room, Highway
19E, Roan Mountain, someone struck the car and left the scene.
He stated that when he returned to his car at approximately
10 p.m., he noticed the damage. According to reports, the
vehicle suffered extensive damage to the driver's side door.
