Arrests
* Christopher S. Heimann, 19, 129 Aviation Drive,
was arrested Friday morning by Elizabethton Police Department
PTL Michael Merritt on warrants charging him with two counts
of simple possession of Schedule III narcotics and one count
of simple possession of Schedule IV narcotics. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court Jan. 28.
* Donald Kyle Yontz Sr., 49, 511 N. Sycamore
St., Apt 7, was arrested Saturday morning by EPD Sgt. John
Bailey and charged with assault. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court Feb. 3.
* James Dean Hill, 34, 44 Frontage Road, Johnson
City, was arrested Saturday afternoon by Carter County Sheriff's
Department Sgt. Keith Range and charged with assault under
domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court Feb. 4.
* Ricky K. McClain, 33, 196 Blue Grass Road,
Roan Mountain, was arrested early Sunday morning by CCSD Sgt.
Patrick Johnson and charged with driving on a revoked license
and possession of Schedule III narcotics. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court Feb. 18.
Theft
* Michael Nidiffer, 1226 Blue Springs Road, reported
to CCSD Deputy Albert Nave that someone had stolen a generator
belonging to him from the basement of his residence. The generator
is described as a Home Lite brand 8,000 watt portable generator
and is valued at approximately $1,500.
* Amos Ward, of San Bernadino, Calif., reported
to EPD PTL Brooke Mullins that on Sunday around 7 p.m. he
had parked his 1987 white Jeep Cherokee in the parking lot
of Richie's Wholesale. When he returned at 9 p.m. he found
the vehicle missing.
* Audry Mathes, 303 Shawnee Road, Johnson City,
reported to EPD Capt. Bill Fraley that on Saturday night between
7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., someone broke into her car and stole
her purse. She reported that the purse contained $140 in cash
as well as various jewelry items. According to reports, the
total value of the items stolen is more than $600.
* David Eugene Dula, Elk Park, N.C., reported
to EPD PTL Joy Shoun that someone had broken into a storage
unit that he had rented to store some of his personal property
and had stolen several items, including a 27-inch Samsung
television, a Philips three-disc changer stereo, a stereo
cabinet, a portable stereo and assorted DVDs and videos. The
estimated value of the property stolen is $800.
