Arrests
* Carlos Guitierrez, 23, 445 Lowell Jones Road,
Piney Flats, was arrested Wednesday evening by Elizabethton
Police Department PTL Mike McIntosh and charged with DUI,
driving without a license and violation of the financial responsibility
law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Jan.
27.
* Chad Lee Davis, 22, 112 S. Watauga Ave., Apt.
11, was arrested Wednesday night by EPD Capt. Rusty Verran
and charged with filing a false report. He is scheduled to
appear in General Sessions Court Jan. 27.
* Norman Lee Richardson, 57, 119 Tuttle Circle,
Jonesborough, was arrested Wednesday evening by EPD Sgt. Roger
Crowe and charged with DUI. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court Jan. 28.
* John Gray, 18, 1240 Riverview Drive, was served
a warrant Wednesday night by EPD PTL Shannon Peters charging
him with vandalism over $500.
* Beau D. McKee, 22, 2918 S. Greenwood Drive,
Apt. 42, Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday morning by EPD
PTL Shannon Peters and charged with DUI and possession of
drug paraphernalia.
* Richard Lynn Greenwell, 22, 165 Clover St.,
was arrested Wednesday just before noon by EPD PTL Shannon
Peters and charged with assault under domestic violence, possession
of Schedule IV narcotics and possession of Schedule VI narcotics.
* Mike Hartsock, 34, 726 Watauga Ave., was arrested
Wednesday afternoon by EPD Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with
vandalism under domestic violence. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court Jan. 27.
* Robert E. Fields, 38, 134 Doc Fields Road,
Roan Mountain, was arrested Wednesday morning by Carter County
Sheriff's Department Deputy Shannon Deloach on a warrant charging
him with aggravated assault under domestic violence. He was
also served with an attachment out of Juvenile Court.
* Jonathan A. Diamond, 20, 710 Chestnut St.,
was arrested Wednesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach
and served with an Attachment Pro Corpus.
* Joshua Dean Clawson, 19, 2131 Ballfield Road,
Elk Park, N.C., was arrested by law enforcement officers in
Avery County, N.C., on a warrant out of Carter County charging
him with violation of probation, a capias warrant and an Attachment
Pro Corpus and he was transported to the Tennessee state line
where he was arrested by CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach Wednesday
afternoon.
* Robert Gray Whitson, 41, 106 Stout Hollow Road,
Hampton, was arrested Wednesday evening by CCSD Deputy Sarah
Ryan and charged with public intoxication. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court Jan. 28.
Theft
* Debbie G. Grindstaff, 313 Merry St., reported
to EPD PTL Shannon Peters that someone had stolen an air conditioning
unit out of a house that she owned and rented out at 214 E.
Cottage Ave. She reported that she suspects a female subject
known to her. The estimated value of the air conditioning
unit is $270.
* Amy Nicole Russell, 2006 W. G St., reported
to EPD Sgt. John Ramsey that on Wednesday, someone entered
her residence and stole some prescription medication belonging
to her.
* Shonda D. Terry, 1254 Bluefield Ave., Apt.
L-4, reported to EPD PTL Shannon Peters that on Tuesday morning,
she heard someone in her apartment and when she went to check,
she found the window to her apartment open and discovered
that her wallet was missing along with some prescription medication
belonging to her. She reported that she suspects a male subject
known to her.
Fraud
* Mickey Taylor, principal at Unaka Elementary
School, reported to CCSD Deputy Kenny Cornett that two male
juveniles had been going door to door and taking up money
for Unaka Elementary School, but the school is not holding
any kind of fund-raiser or taking up money.
