Arrests
* Gunter Heinz Peschke, 40, Pine Crest
Apartments, Apt. 5, Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday evening
by Elizabethton Police Department Capt. Rusty Verran and charged
with public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court Jan. 27.
* Charles J. Hensley, 28, 2914 Greenwood Drive,
Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday by Carter County Sheriff's
Department Lt. Rocky Croy on a capias warrant charging him
with failure to appear in court.
* Henry David Blevins, 18, 916 C Pineridge
Circle, was arrested Tuesday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Greg
Nave on a capias warrant charging him with failure to appear
in court.
* Michael Charles Click, 40, 4202 Navaho Drive,
Apt. 3, Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday evening by CCSD
Deputy Bradley Johnson on a warrant charging him with violation
of probation.
* John Paul Smith, 31, 140 Spears Ave., was arrested
early Wednesday morning by CCSD Lt. Bob Hooks and charged
with theft under $500 and was served an attachment charging
him with contempt of court. He is scheduled to appear in General
Sessions Court Jan. 27 on the theft charge.
* Charlene Marie Saunders, 38, 1226 Bristol Highway,
was arrested Tuesday morning by CCSD Deputy Janice Black and
served with an Attachment Pro Corpus out of juvenile court
charging her with failure to pay fines and costs. She is scheduled
to appear before the Juvenile Court today.
* Angela Renee Potter, 24, 145 Rittertown Road,
Hampton, was arrested early Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy
Kenny Cornett and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia
and going armed. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court Jan. 28.
* Nickalus W. Guinn, 25, 2667 Bob Little Road,
was arrested Tuesday night by CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan and charged
with second offense driving on a suspended license and fleeing
to avoid apprehension. He was also served with a warrant charging
him with violation of probation. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court Jan. 27.
* Christopher Vance Carroll, 31, 305 Montgomery
St., Apt. 6, was arrested Tuesday night by officers from the
Johnson City Police Bureau and charged with aggravated assault
and aggravated burglary. He is scheduled to appear in Washington
County General Sessions Court today.
Theft
* Robby Metcalf, 214 Rockhouse Road, Lot 35,
reported to CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan that between Saturday and
Tuesday, someone entered his home and stole a combination
safe belonging to him. He stated that the safe contained more
than $1,600 in cash along with titles to vehicles and an unknown
amount of prescription medication. According to reports, the
medication was Oxycontin in 20, 40 and 80 milligram doses
and had belonged to Metcalf's deceased mother. According to
the report, entry was made to the residence by breaking a
window at the front of the residence and pushing over an entertainment
center that was in front of the window. Damage was done to
the entertainment center and the items contained in it. Metcalf
reported to the officer that he has two suspects in the incident.
