Arrests
* James Paul Jones, 39, 1808 Briarcliff
Drive, was arrested Friday evening by Elizabethton Police
Department PTL Joy Shoun and charged with public intoxication.
He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Jan. 10.
* Rex D. Lewis, 40, 1205 W. G St., was arrested
Friday evening by EPD Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with DUI,
violation of the implied consent law and simple possession
of casual exchange of Schedule IV narcotics. He is scheduled
to appear in General Sessions Court Jan. 10.
* Martrez Lavon Evans, 19, 1484 Milligan Highway,
was arrested Saturday afternoon by EPD PTL Jennifer Mayberry
and charged with theft of property. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court Jan. 10.
* Jerry Darrell Langford, 44, 2684 Bandy's Springs
Road, Catawba, N.C., was arrested Sunday evening by EPD Sgt.
John Ramsey and charged with public intoxication.
* Hassan T. Smile, 44, 116 Commodore, was arrested
early Sunday morning by EPD Sgt. John Ramsey and charged with
DUI. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Jan.

* Kenneth R. Murphy, 42, 720 Beech St., was arrested
Friday afternoon by EPD PTL Jason Shaw on an outstanding warrant
for violation of probation.
* Jason Henry Grindstaff, 19, 1256 Bluefield
Ave., Apt. M-4, was arrested Sunday night by Carter County
Sheriff's Department Deputy Chad Grindstaff on an outstanding
warrant for violation of probation.
* Danielle Hannah Stills, 26, 169 Ollie Collins
Road, was arrested Sunday night by CCSD Deputy Fred Sluder
on an outstanding warrant for violation of probation.
* Chance E. Bacon, 24, 605 W. E St., was arrested
Monday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on outstanding capias warrants
charging him with failure to appear and hindering secured
creditors.
* Christopher Dale Guinn, 18, 792 Poga Road,
was arrested Sunday night by CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach on
an outstanding warrant for violation of probation.
* Grover E. Richardson, 49, 1180 Dry Creek Road,
was arrested Sunday evening by CCSD Deputy David Ryan on an
outstanding warrant charging him with leaving the scene of
an accident with property damage. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court Jan. 22.
* Bradley Gray Murphy, 22, 1503 Southside Road,
was arrested Saturday evening by CCSD Deputy Fred Sluder on
a capias warrant charging him with failure to appear.
* Michael Wayne Sharp, 44, 952 Bit Lane, Dahlone,
Ga., was arrested Saturday afternoon by CCSD Sgt. Patrick
S. Johnson and charged with criminal impersonation and for
being a fugitive from justice in Georgia.
* Ramon C. Molina, 34, 445 Lowell Jones Road,
Piney Flats, was arrested Sunday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy and
charged with DUI. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions
Court Jan. 21.
* Joseph Richard Dawson, 41, 129 Milligan Lane,
Johnson City, was arrested Friday night by EPD PTL Jennifer
Mayberry and charged with DUI, driving without a license and
violation of the implied consent law. He is scheduled to appear
in General Sessions Court Jan. 10.
Vandalism
* Geoff Buck, an employee of the First Utility
District, reported to CCSD Deputy Dean Jones Friday morning
that someone had pulled the wires from the junction box on
top of a water tank on Jess Hurley Road. Buck reported that,
when this happens, the tank overflows because the pump does
not know when to shut off. There is no estimate available
for the cost of repairs.
