Arrests

   * Terry Lynn Powers, 217 Cripple Creek, 47, was arrested Thursday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Janice Black and charged with public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Dec. 8.
   * Gregory Lee Banks, 258 Beaumont Lane, Bluff City, no age available, was arrested Thursday morning by CCSD Deputy Kenny Cornett and charged with public intoxication. He was also served with an outstanding capias charging him with failure to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Dec. 29 on the public intoxication charge.
   * Jerry R. Oaks, 21, 920 South Second St., was arrested early Friday morning by Elizabethton Police Department Capt. Art Smithdeal and Ptl. Jason Shaw on a warrant charging him with the unlawful possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
   * Christopher J. Britt, 31, 116 Wagner Rd., Watauga, was arrested Thursday morning by EPD Ptl. Michael Merritt and charged with driving on a revoked license, violation of the vehicle registration law and violation of the financial responsibility law.
   * Ryan Edward Peters, 23, no address available, Chattanooga, was arrested Saturday morning by officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with aggravated burglary, simple assault - domestic, and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
   * Earl L. Jordan, 33, 70 Ocean Blvd. Lot 42, Greeneville, was arrested Saturday morning by the officers of the Johnson City Police Department and charged with attempted sale of a counterfeit substance and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to appear at a preliminary hearing in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
   * Allison S. Frost, 31, 306 W. Unaka Ave., Johnson City, was arrested Saturday morning by officers with the Johnson City Police Department and charged with being a fugitive from justice. She is scheduled to be arraigned in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
