Arrests

  
* Brian Keith Hopson, 32, 2508 Roaring Creek Rd., Roan Mountain, was arrested Wednesday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Brad Hamm and charged with going armed and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Dec. 8.
   * Michael R. Vance, 33, 205 Norwood Dr., Gray, was arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Janice Black on a capias charging him with failure to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 17.
   * Christopher Wade Guy, 30, 143 Leroy Dugger Rd., Butler, was arrested early Thursday morning by CCSD Sgt. Patrick Johnson and charged with being a habitual motor vehicle offender. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Nov. 17.
   * Terry Allen Brewster, 28, 320 Kenneth Hollow Rd., Watauga, was arrested Wednesday night by CCSD Deputy Charlotte Walker on two warrants charging him with violation of probation and two capiases charging him with failure to appear in court. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
   * Helen Pearce, no age available, 118 Cunningham Rd., was arrested Wednesday morning by CCSD Deputy Janice Black on a capias charging her with failure to appear in court.
   * Ginger Roseanna Henry, 37, no address available, was arrested early Wednesday morning by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Richard Haney and charged with second offense DUI and violation of the implied consent law.
  
Theft

  
* Roy Hardin, of Birchie's Auto on West Elk Avenue, reported to EPD Ptl. Kelly Mullins on Wednesday that sometime early that morning or during the previous night, someone had stolen a recreational vehicle from the lot which belonged to Kim and Richard Sheffield. According to reports, the Sheffields had left the motor home at the lot for the vehicle to be sold. The RV is described as a 2000 Flagstaff model 25 ft. trailer home.
