Arrests

* Garrett McConnell, 23, 1700 Lone Oak Rd. #7, Johnson City, was arrested Friday by the Johnson City Bureau of Police on a warrant charging him with felony evading arrest, resisting arrest, and driving on a suspended driver's license. The arrest stems from officers attempting to arrest McConnell on Oct. 17. He was being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $2,500 bond.
* Rick Brown, 2105 N. Greenwood Dr. #93, Johnson City, was arrested Friday by the JCBP following an investigation into an assault that occurred at 1505 E. Holston Ave. Brown was charged with aggravated assault and was being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $5,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Oct. 28.
* Megan Narissa Cullop, no age available, P.O. Box 152, Erwin, was arrested Friday by the JCBP following an investigation into several checks being written on a closed account to Wal-Mart in Johnson City. Cullop was charged with theft over $1,000 and 17 counts of criminal simulation. She was being held in the Washington County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Oct. 28.
* Bobby Joe Rollins, 30, 1904 E. Unaka Ave., Johnson City, was arrested Friday by the JCBP and charged with being a fugitive from justice. The arrest stems from a traffic stop where Rollins and the driver of the vehicle in which he was a passenger had no identification. After further investigation, police reported Rollins was wanted in Granite City, N.C., on charges of first degree burglary and aiding and abetting armed robbery. He was being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond.
