Arrests

   * Shelia Sue Tolley, 40, 126 Crook St., Hampton, was arrested Monday night by Carter County Sheriff's Department Lt. Rocky Croy and charged with aggravated DUI and reckless endangerment. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Dec. 23.
   * Rafael Florez Ortiez, 25, 215 Sugar Hollow Road, Butler, was arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm on a warrant for failure to appear.
   * Kristopher Boyd McKinney, 28, 1326 Rittertown Road, Hampton, was arrested Monday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm on a warrant for violation of probation.
   * Ryan Patrick Honeycutt, 24, 102 Vaughn Road, Hampton, was arrested Monday just before noon by CCSD Sgt. Audrey Covington on three capias warrants for failure to appear and one capias warrant for violation of probation.
   * Kathy Jo Morton, 27, 105 Stevens Road, Hampton, was arrested Monday just before noon by CCSD Sgt. Audrey Covington on four capias warrants for failure to appear.
   * Rebecca Byers Vestal, 22, 204 Ed Green Road, Hampton, was arrested Monday morning by CCSD Sgt. Audrey Covington and charged with 10 counts of forgery.
   * Herbert W. Shasteen, 27, 149 Leech Drive, Apt. 3, Jonesborough, was arrested early Tuesday morning by CCSD Constable Bobby Canter on outstanding warrants.
   * Travis Brent Templeton, 32, 248 Aviation Drive, was arrested late Monday night by Elizabethton Police Department Sgt. Roger Crowe and charged with evading arrest, resisting arrest, public intoxication and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also served with two capias warrants for failure to appear and two capias warrants for violation of probation after his arrest.
   * John Paul Kane, 59, 116 Walnut St., Apt. 1, Johnson City, was arrested early Tuesday morning by EPD Ptl. Jennifer Mayberry and charged with public intoxication.
   * Julie Ann Carver, 20, 2226 W. G St., Apt. 13, was arrested by EPD Ptl. Shannon Peters and charged with speeding, driving on a revoked license and violation of financial responsibility.
   * George Hagan Jackson, 42, 200 Mallory Cove Road, Butler, was arrested Friday by CCSD Officer Bobby Trivette and charged with DUI, driving on a suspended license, violation of the implied consent law, and leaving the scene of an accident.
   * Alberto V. Perez, 18, 2506 U.S. Highway 91, Elizabethton, was arrested Sunday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy and charged with DUI, no driver's license, reckless driving, resisting arrest, and failure to yield to blue lights. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court Dec. 23.

Theft

   * Patty Russell, 190 Bunker Hill Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Dean Jones that she has been living on Bunker Hill Road since her home at 127 Lafayette Road burned down approximately three months ago, and some time between Nov. 27 and Nov. 31, someone had stolen five concrete lawn ornaments from the Lafayette Road property. She then reported that sometime between Dec. 6 and Dec. 8, someone again entered the property and stole several items including a red Craftsman toolbox, two ladders, a Dewalt drill, a blue 10-speed bicycle, an exercise bicycle, a Lowe's riding lawnmower and some lawn tools.
   * Benjamin Eli Smith and Christopher Stephen Byrd, Webb Hall, Milligan College, reported to EPD Ptl. Jennifer Mayberry that someone had entered their residence hall room and had stolen approximately 20 DVD movies, an XBox gaming system, and approximately $180 in cash. They advised the officer that they suspected three male subjects known to them.
   * Connie Calandros, 143 Winchester Road, Johnson City, reported to CCSD Deputy Eric Buck that on Dec. 5, someone entered her home and stole several Christmas presents from the residence including a Norelco electric razor, two small lamps and some clothing.
   * Justin Barnett, 101 Burbank Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Tim Tester that someone had stolen a one-ton, 10-foot flatbed truck belonging to him. The truck was later found by Barnett in the Cove Creek community.
   * Kara D. Benge, 175 Ollie Collins Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm that someone had stolen a Seiko wristwatch valued at approximately $500 from her residence. She reported that she suspects a male subject known to her.

Vandalism

   * Kimberly Weaver, 225 Swimming Pool Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland that someone had vandalized her 2000 Jeep Wrangler while it was parked at her residence and had stolen approximately 48 compact discs. According to reports, the vehicle had a turn light lens broken as well as cuts to the body.

Fire

   * A home belonging to Warren MacDeff, 171 Log Cabin Road, Roan Mountain, caught fire and was destroyed Sunday along with many of its contents. MacDeff reported to CCSD Deputy Al Meehan that he had built a fire in the fireplace and that it had apparently caught the back wall on fire.
  
Reckless endangerment

  
* John Johnson, 2110 Gap Creek Road, reported to CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland that on the afternoon of Dec. 6, someone fired a shot into his home. No one was injured in the incident.
