Arrests

   * Robert Thomas Wright, 53, 1976 King Springs Road, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday afternoon by Elizabethton Police Department PTL Jason McCall and charged with public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Dec. 9.
   * Nancy M. Norris, 37, 1112 Stateline Road, Apt. 11, was arrested Thursday morning by EPD PTL Carl Burrough and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Dec. 9. She was also charged with filing a false report. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Dec. 20 to answer that charge.
   * John Robert Moore, 24, 1267 Bluefield Avenue, #A-1, was arrested just before midnight Monday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Donald White on a warrant charging him with violation of probation. He was given a General Sessions Court date of Dec. 6.
   * Mitchell Keith Estep, 25, 182 Josiah Trail, was arrested early Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Donald White on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Jennifer Gail Shell, 31, 107 Carl Smith Road, Hampton, was arrested early Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Donald White on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Christi Ann Brown, 27, 107 Victory Lane, was arrested early Friday morning by CCSD Deputy Donald White on a warrant charging her with violation of probation.
   * Richard Alan Stout, 24, no address available, was arrested Thursday morning by CCSD Deputy Matt Lunceford on three capias warrants for failure to appear and a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * James Paul Chambers, 45, 679 Tiger Creek Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Thursday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Tim Tester on a capias warrant for failure to appear.
   * Charles Raymond Woods, 34, Ashley Apartments, #1, Highway 19-E, Roan Mountain, was arrested Thursday afternoon by CCSD Deputy Tim Tester on a capias warrant for failure to appear.

Theft

   * Timothy Malone, 205 Cedar Grove Road, Johnson City, reported to CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian that in the early morning hours of Wednesday someone busted the passenger window out of his 1993 Cavalier which was parked at his residence. He reported that the only thing missing from the vehicle was a pack of Winston Light cigarettes.
   * Employees of the cafeteria at Unaka High School, 119 Robertson Lane, reported to CCSD Sgt. T. Lowe that someone entered the storage area of the cafeteria and damaged a computer monitor and the cash register and also stole approximately $50 in cash.
   * Jeff Hubbard, 104 Cuyler Wiley Road, Johnson City, reported to CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian that sometime early Wednesday morning someone busted the passenger side window of his 1993 Honda Civic and stole a Kenwood CD player, a jacket and two cases of CDs. The dash was also damaged and the door dented during the break in.
   * Jerry Newman Allen, 336 Hickory Circle, Butler, reported to CCSD Deputy Todd Hamm that on Thursday afternoon someone broke stole approximately $500 worth of travelers checks and his personal checkbook from his 1999 Dodge 2500 pickup truck. Allen stated that he had wrecked his truck on Highway 321 and had left the vehicle to call a tow truck and that while he was gone, the items were stolen.
  
Vandalism


   * A caller reported to CCSD that someone was in the main office of Sterling Hills Apartments, 1 Milligan Lane, Johnson City, and was attempting break into the vending machine. When CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian reached the scene, the suspect was gone. The machine appeared to have been broken into using a screw driver and pliers. An investigation of the incident is continuing.
