Arrests

  
Jonathan Sincere Willis, 29, 404 South Broadway Street, Johnson City, was arrested Monday by Johnson City Police Bureau Inv. Frank Peters and charged with identity theft after using another person's name and social security card while being questioned by officers. He is currently being held in lieu of a $10,000 bond at the Washington County Detention Center. He is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court today.
   * Brandy Smiley, 21, 1834 Bristol Highway, Watauga, was arrested Monday by JCPB Inv. Frank Peters and charged with theft of property over $10,000. Mrs. Smiley was arrested after an investigation into $37,060.80 taken from Branham Corporation, 606 Wesin Par road, Johnson City, where she was employed in the bookkeeping department. Mrs. Smiley was released in lieu of $10,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
   * Kevin J. Mahoney, 46, 713 Woodhaven Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Friday afternoon by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Michael Merritt and charged with following too closely, driving on a suspended license, violation of the financial responsibility law and simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court today.
   * Charles W. Campbell, 36, 197 Opposum Hollow Road, was arrested Friday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Tonya Range and charged with DUI, violation of the open container law and failure to yield. He was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court yesterday.
   * Larry Ray Laws, 37, 123 Reeser Road, Lot 19, was arrested Saturday night by EPD Ptl. John Ramsey and charged with aggravated DUI. He was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court yesterday.
   * James David Rouse, 27, 1565 Southside Road, was arrested early Sunday morning by EPD officers and charged with second offense DUI, second offense driving on revoked and violation of the implied consent law.
   * Patricia Moffitt, 26, 306 South Watauga Avenue, Apt. 2, was arrested Saturday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Tonya Range on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on charges of two counts of public intoxication, possession of a Schedule IV drug and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   * Keith Pierce, 38, 136 Sneed Hill Road, was arrested Saturday afternoon by EPD Ptl. Jason McCall on an attachment for contempt of court out of Washington County.
   * Laura Michelle Bentley, 18, 150 Hatcher Lane, was arrested Saturday evening by EPD Ptl. Tonya Range and charged with disorderly conduct. She was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court yesterday.
   * Richard Dale Hyder, 54, 350 Minton Hollow Road, was arrested early Monday morning by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Jeff Markland and charged with second offense DUI and violation of registration. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Dec. 9.
   * Donna Ann Taylor, 33, 118 Dove Lane, was arrested early Sunday morning by CCSD Deputy Albert Nave and charged with leaving the scene of an accident, second offense DUI, driving on a revoked license and violation of implied consent. She was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court yesterday.
   * Terry Allen Brewster, 27, 199 Swimming Pool Road, Hampton, was arrested early Monday morning by CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm on a warrant for failure to appear. He was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court yesterday.
   * Andrew Wayne White, 32, 210 Carl Smith Road, Lot 1, Hampton, was arrested Saturday morning by CCSD Deputy Tim Tester and charged with violation of probation. He was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court yesterday.
   * Billy Michael Ellis, 27, 1500 Milligan Highway, Johnson City, was arrested Friday evening by CCSD Constable Harvey Shaffer on a warrant for failure to appear.
   * Raymond Keith Anderson, 23, 910 1/2 Cedar Ave., was arrested early Sunday morning by CCSD Deputy Donald White on a warrant for failure to appear.
   * Joseph Able Heaton, 18, 53 Plymouth Rock Condos, Apt. B, was arrested Sunday night by EPD Sgt. John Bailey, EPD Ptl. Ramsey and CCSD Lt. Mike Fraley and charged with public intoxication, underage consumption and resisting arrest. He was scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court yesterday.
   * Robert Guy Oliver, 66, Smalling Road, Johnson City, was arrested Sunday night by EPD Ptl. Jerry Bradley and charged with public intoxication and vandalism.
  
Thefts

  
* Natasha Dunlop, 416 Ferguson Ave., reported to EPD Ptl. Richard Haney on Friday night that she had parked her motor scooter at Pizza Hut, where she works, and when she was prepared to go home for the night she discovered it had been stolen.
   * Robert M. Jones, of Central Volunteer Fire Department, reported to CCSD officers that someone had stolen a Motorola hand held radio from the station sometime between Nov. 9-12. Jones said he waited to report the incident because he thought someone may have simply borrowed it. The value of the radio is estimated to be $700.
