Arrests

   * Michael Warren Martin, 18, 111 Honeycutt Drive, Johnson City, was arrested by Carter County Sheriff's Department officers early Friday morning and charged with driving on a suspended license and violation of the seat belt law.
   * Benford D. Maddox, 25, 121 Furman Bryant Road, Unicoi, was arrested early Friday morning by Elizabethton Police Department officers and charged with DUI.
   * Melissa Carol Williams, 29, 208 Spring St., Hampton, was arrested early Friday morning by EPD officers and charged with DUI, following too closely and violation of implied consent.
   * Sandra Kay Morris, 54, 120 Reeser Road #120, Johnson City, was arrested Friday by officers with the Johnson City Bureau of Police on charges of forgery, criminal impersonation and shoplifting. She was being held in Washington County Detention Center under a $3,000 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Monday.
   * Brenda L. Flint, 31, was arrested Friday by the Johnson City Bureau of Police on multiple charges, according to the Bureau. The arrest came after police were called to 3416 Timberlake Road in reference to a vehicle accident. Flint was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, violation of implied consent law, child neglect and assault on an officer. She was being held in Washington County Detention Center under a $5,500 bond. She is scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Monday.
   * Officers with the Johnson City Police and Jonesborough Police Department arrested two persons on Saturday in connection with a robbery that occurred at The Planet, 820 W. Walnut St. According to police reports, two men allegedly robbed a subject on the lot using physical force. After the incident occurred, the victim reportedly gave chase to the suspects until they were stopped by Jonesborough authorities. Cedric J. Barner and Brandon W. Roark, both of Greeneville, were arrested and charged with one count each of strong arm robbery. They were being held in the Washington County Detention Center without bond. They are scheduled to appear in Washington County General Sessions Court on Monday.
  
Vandalism


   * Jerry Carver, 301 Third Ave., Watauga, reported to CCSD officers on Thursday that someone had spray painted his vehicle orange while it sat in front of his residence.
  
Death investigation

   * Officers with the Johnson City Bureau of Police were dispatched to the area behind Bosch Brakes on Friday in reference to a reported death. On arrival, police reported finding a male subject who was deceased. According to police reports, the subject apparently fell into a fire where he was sitting. The name of the deceased was being withheld pending notification of the nearest relative.
