Arrests


   *
Britt Jessee Armstrong, 28, 201 Williams Avenue, was arrested Monday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Johnny Miller on assault charges.
   * Clayton Henry Osborne, 26, 195 Spring Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Monday by CCSD Constable Landon Pritchard on a charge of public intoxication.
   * Joshua James, 19, 342 Dalewood Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Monday by CCSD Constable Bobby Canter for failure to appear on a charge of telephone harassment.
   * James Edward Gill, 26, 1074 Tiger Creek Road, was arrested Monday by CCSD officer Tim Tester on a charge of violation of probation.
   * Robert Guy Oliver, 66, 789 U.S. Highway 91, was arrested Monday by CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess on a charge of violation of probation.
   * Wade Evan Hampton, 14, 450 Cloudland Drive, Roan Mountain, was arrested Monday by CCSD officer Bradley Johnson on a charge of violation of probation.
   * Lawrence Bracey Campbell, 45, 766 Heaton Creek, Roan Mountain, was arrested Monday by CCSD officer Bradley N. Johnson on a charge of theft over $1,000.
  
Burglary

   *
On Monday, Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Jason McCall was dispatched to 630 Race Street, Apt. #1 in reference to an auto burglary. Sandra Pritchard advised McCall that two vehicles had been burglarized. A CD player/stereo was taken from one of the vehicles, and $15 in cash was taken from the other.
   * On Tuesday, Robert Greer, 109 Rome Hollow Road, advised CCSD Deputy Eric Buck that someone had entered a residence he was remodeling and took a batter-operated drill, a Kirby vacuum cleaner, and assorted tools. There was no forced entry, according to the report.
   * On Monday, Lynette Webb, 208 Frankline Lane, reported to CCSD officer Todd Hamm that someone had broken into her residence and stolen some of her clothing.
  
Theft

  
* On Saturday, Heidi Sue Shirley, 143 Ezee Lane, reported to CCSD officer Randy Buck that someone had taken a wooden bench and a wooden scarecrow out of her front lawn.
  
Stolen Vehicle

   *
On Monday, EPD Ptl. Jason McCall was dispatched to Allen's Auto Sales, 3657 U.S. Highway 19E in reference to a stolen vehicle. Sawn Seaboch and Teri Rogers advised McCall that a light blue 1987 Chevrolet Camaro had been stolen from the lot.
