Burglary

* On Friday, Raymond Markland complained to Carter County Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Tim Lowe that someone had entered his Jeep Wrangler while it was parked at his residence on Idlewall Circle and had stolen his CD player.
     * On Sunday, CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett spoke with Haskel Mosier who stated that he left his Martindale Drive residence Saturday and returned on Sunday to find someone had broken into the home. Mosier stated someone had kicked in the back door and advised that an M-16 rifle and a .22 caliber revolver had been taken. He said several other guns hanging on the wall and stored in drawers around the home were not taken.
     * On Friday, CCSD Deputy Kenny Cornett spoke to Rose Freeland who stated that someone had cut the lock off the storage building she had rented at Secure Stor on Fitzsimmons Hill Road. She advised there were several items missing that belonged to her and her mother-in-law. 

Theft

     * Linda Guinn advised Elizabethton Police Officer Jennifer Mayberry on Friday that sometime between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Friday, someone at Pine Ridge Care Center had stolen her billfold out of her purse. The billfold reportedly contained checks, an ATM card, her driver's license, insurance card, $30 cash and personal papers. No witnesses or suspects were known.
     * On Friday, Timothy Potter complained to CCSD Sgt. Tim Lowe that on Sept. 16, someone had stolen a chrome-plated .38 caliber handgun from his residence on T.J. Lane.
     * Thomas Sayler reported to CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach on Saturday that his boat, parked near his home on U.S. Hwy. 19E in Hampton had been stolen. The boat was described as a blue tri-hull with blue carpet and a Johnson motor.
     * CCSD Deputy Kenny Cornett spoke to Kenneth Honeycutt on Saturday in reference to theft. Honeycutt advised that he came home to his residence on Hilton Hill Road in Watauga and found that someone had entered his home and stolen his oxycontin pills.
    
Assault

     * Steve Rice came to the Sheriff's Department on Sunday and advised Sgt. Penny Cornett that a male subject known to him had pulled a gun on him. He advised that he and a female acquaintance had gone to Shoeless Joe's in Johnson City. He stated that when the couple left, his vehicle would not start, so they went to the female's residence to obtain jumper cables. Rice stated the female's ex-husband threatened him with a gun while they were at her residence in Johnson City. According to Rice, the male subject did not actually point a gun at him but was waving it around and making threats of harm.
     * On Friday, CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach was dispatched to River's Edge Trailer Park in Hampton in reference to an assault. On arrival, Deloach spoke with Claudia Taylor who reported she had placed the property of a male subject known to her on the porch where he could claim it. She stated that she had gone outside while the subject was there, and a verbal disagreement occurred. She advised that the subject had struck her on the left shoulder.

Vandalism

* CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess spoke with Randall Bennett who stated that a female subject known to him came to his Unaka View Road residence just after midnight on Sunday. Bennett advised the subject was drunk, and that he attempted to stop her from leaving. He stated that he pulled his car behind the female's car and attempted to take the keys from her, when she bit him. Bennett advised the female then drove her vehicle forward, struck the corner of an RV and a red truck, then backed up and struck him in the leg with her vehicle. Bennett stated she struck several other vehicles and nearly ran over he and his son before driving through the yard and leaving the residence. 

Arrests

* Joseph Mich Whitson, 19, 147 Wilbur Dam Road, was arrested Friday by CCSD Deputy Albert Nave on charges of DWI, evading arrest, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and driving on a suspended license. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Michael Wayne Hudson, 36, 103 Carl Smith Road, Hampton, was arrested Friday by Constable Landon Pritchard on charges of public intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * William B. Earnest, 21, 217 Spring Street, Jonesborough, was arrested Friday by EPD Officer Mike Merritt on charges of DUI, violation of the registration law, having no driver's license on his person, possession of Scheduled IV drugs, and violation of financial responsibility law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Regina Ann Shelton, 23, 583 Old Embreeville Road, Jonesborough, was arrested Friday by EPD Officer Shannon Peters on a charge of driving on a suspended license. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * James Wilton Campbell, 51, 711 Hamilton Street, Johnson City, was arrested Friday on charges of driving under the influence and violation of the implied consent law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 7.
     * Jean Berry, 59, 248 Big Sandy Road, was arrested by CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian on Friday on charges of reckless endangerment and filing a false police report. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Jack Berry, 50, was arrested Friday by CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian on a warrant issued for charges of sale of Schedule II drugs and conspiracy to sell Schedule II drugs.
     * Randal Street, 30, 115 Street's Lane, was arrested on Friday by CCSD Inv. Laverne Julian on a warrant charging him with two counts of aggravated assault. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Terry Ray Street, 41, Street Mobile Home Park #15, Hampton, was arrested Friday by CCSD Deputy Brad Johnson on a charge of public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 1.
     * Danny Ray Cross, 33, 204 Sycamore Street, was arrested Friday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of public intoxication and a criminal summons for failure to pay court costs.
     * Jimmy Dale Roberts, 29, 713 Hemlock Street, Johnson City, was arrested Friday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on charge of violation of probation.
     * Joshua Lee Brown, 18, 234 Panhandle Road, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Deputy Johnny Miller on a warrant from General Sessions Court for violation of probation on a charge of drinking under age. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Tammy Lynn Butler, 32, George Bowers Road, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Sgt. Penny Cornett on a charge of driving on a revoked license. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Randy J. Morton, 35, 124 Sneed Hill Road, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Deputy Kenny Cornett on charges of aggravated assault and criminal trespassing. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 8.
     * Cheryl Lynn Harrison, 25, 315 Reynolds Road, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on a warrant from Carter County Sessions Court charging her with violation of probation. Harrison was also served with a summons for assault and criminal trespassing. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Thomas Eugene Stout, 45, 123 Williams Street, Hampton, was arrested Saturday on a warrant issued from Criminal Court on a charge of sale of Schedule II drugs.
     * Ronald D. Jones, 53, 178 Heather Lane, Johnson City, was arrested Saturday by EPD Officer Mike McIntosh on a charge of public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 27.
     * Betty J. Patchell, 55, 178 Heather Lane, Johnson City, was arrested Saturday by EPD Officer Mike McIntosh on a charge of public intoxication. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 27.
     * Leonard R. Winters, 56, 120 Flora Dugger Road, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Deputy Shannon Deloach on charges of DUI, violation of implied consent, and violation of the financial responsibility law. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 30.
     * Joseph Lee Short, 32, 147 Renee Drive, Johnson City, was arrested Saturday by CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess on charges of public intoxication and resisting arrest. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 7.
     * Eddie Dean Bishop, no age available, 214 Sam's Hollow Road, was arrested Sunday by CCSD Lt. Rocky Croy on an attachment for contempt. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 25.
     * Jeff Allen Ingram, 33, 132 Wilson Avenue, was arrested Sunday by EPD Officer Mike McIntosh on a charge of public intoxication. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 7.
     * Jessica Nicole Shepard, 19, 104 Five Oaks Drive, was arrested Sunday by EPD Officer Mike McIntosh on a charge of DUI. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Sept. 27.
     * Paula D. Nave, 19, 233 Russell Hill Road, Hampton, was arrested Sunday by CCSD Lt. Harvey Guess on a charge of under age consumption of alcohol. She is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 7.
     * Kaleb Kindle, 18, 106 Taylortown Road, Johnson City, was arrested Monday by EPD Officer Jason McCall on a charge of drinking under age. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 7.
     * George Lawrence Barnard, 18, 517 Allen Avenue, was arrested Monday by EPD Officer Jason McCall on a warrant charging him with DUI and driving without a driver's license. He is scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court on Oct. 7.
