Arrests

   * Nathaniel J. Gibson, 20, 199 Swimming Pool Road, Hampton, was arrested Wednesday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Eric Buck and charged with violation of probation.
   * David K. Card, 29, 2454 Camphorwood Court, Orange Park, Fla., was arrested Wednesday by CCSD Deputy Kathy Forbes on two capiases charging him with failure to appear.
   * Leland B. Moody, 48, 311 Blevins Hollow Road, was arrested Wednesday by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Michael Merritt after the officer responded to a motor vehicle collision on Broad Street. Moody was charged with third-offense DUI, violation of implied consent, violation of registration and violation of financial responsibility law.
   * George Bennett, 43, 7192 Hwy. 19E, Roan Mountain, and Maranda R. Pilk, 24, 925 Pine Ridge Circle, were arrested Thursday by EPD Sgt. Matt Bailey and charged with public intoxication.
   * Tamika Chevette Nobleton, 22, 3411 W. Chestnut St., was issued a summons Thursday by EPD Ptl. Jack Ramsey following a traffic stop. Nobleton was charged with driving on suspended license.

Burglary/Theft

   * Sam J. Street, 53, 4060 Hwy. 19E, Hampton, reported Wednesday to CCSD Deputy Eric Buck that he laid his medicine down at his place of work and someone walked away with it.
   * Joe Lewis, 68, 310 Old Watauga Road, reported Wednesday to CCSD Deputy Janice Black that someone had entered his rental property at 310 Old Watauga Road by breaking in through the back door of the residence and had gone through all the cabinets in the basement.
   * Nancy Dawn Smith, 27, 163 Neth Drive, Milligan College, reported Tuesday to CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland that someone entered her residence and removed $500 in cash which had been hidden, a $175 pair of sunglasses, prescription medication, a $75 Harley-Davidson cup and some empty pill bottles. Entry appeared to have been made by kicking the front door.
   * Beverly K. Hicks, 46, 106 Bud Roberts Loop, reported Wednesday to CCSD Deputy Sarah Ryan that she locked the doors to her residence and left around 6:30 p.m., and when she returned around 9:45 p.m., she found the residence ransacked and several items missing, including a possible .410 shotgun, Sony PlayStation and games, two 35 mm cameras, two open-face reel fishing poles, at least 10 collector knives, and two chainsaws.

Vandalism

   * Judy Barnett, 48, 141 Russell Hill Road, reported Wednesday to CCSD Deputy Kenny Cornett that she found her rental property at 369 Lot #4, Garrison Hollow Road, damaged. A hole was found in a bedroom door and wall; another bedroom had holes in the floor, wall and door. A hole also was found in the living room wall, the back door was broken and the kitchen counter was burned.

Accident

   * Neal Smith, 102 Borderview Ave., reported Wednesday to EPD Ptl. Jason McCall that he had parked his 2002 Chevrolet truck at Whitehead Realty on West G Street and gone inside. The truck was in gear. When he came out, he found his truck had rolled into a 2002 GMC Yukon which was parked adjacent to Bemberg Road, striking the front end of the vehicle. Both vehicles suffered minor damage.
