Arrests

   * Larry Paul Guinn, 19, 16 Lambs Court, Limestone, was arrested Tuesday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Patrick Johnson on warrants taken by an agent of the Drug Enforcement Administration charging Guinn with sale of Schedule VI, conspiracy to sell Schedule VI, two counts sale of Schedule II, and sale of Schedule I.
   * Neal Smith, 37, 102 Borderview Ave., was arrested Tuesday by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Mike Merritt following a traffic stop. Smith was charged with failure to obey a traffic control device, driving on revoked license and violation of financial responsibility law.
   * David Hugh Watson, 35, 517 Joy Court, Johnson City, was issued a summons Tuesday by EPD Ptl. Brooke Mullins after he was detained by Wal-Mart loss prevention personnel for allegedly shoplifting $135 in videos and DVD movies. He was charged with theft under $500.
   * Ellen Jeanette Gregg, 43, was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Deputy Mike Carlock after the officer responded to a report of a domestic disturbance. Gregg was charged with public intoxication.
   * Dusty Paul Smith, 25, 162 Braemer Road, Hampton, was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Deputy Mike Carlock following a traffic stop. A warrants check revealed that Smith had an active capias for failure to serve jail time on violation of probation. He was taken into custody and also received citations for speeding and violation of registration.

Theft

   * Kenneth Smith of Pennington Auto Sales reported Tuesday to CCSD Deputy Mary Miller that a homemade black wire mesh trailer had been taken from the business. The trailer was valued at $700.

Vandalism

   * Darlene Conley, 23, 14 Vanover Road, Johnson City, reported Tuesday to CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland that someone had taken a can of purple spray paint from her porch and had sprayed it on her car, outbuilding and back yard.
