Accident

   * Ward Chambers Jr., 47, 299 McKinney Hollow Rd., was injured Wednesday evening following an ATV accident on McKinney Hollow Road. McKinney was airlifted by Wings Air Rescue to Johnson City Medical Center for treatment. According to Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Brad Hamm, Chambers attempted to turn into a driveway when the Honda Foreman ATV he was riding flipped several times, coming to rest in a ditch. Chambers appeared to have been thrown from the vehicle and came into contact with a wooden fence post. He was not wearing a helmet.
  
Arrest

   * Scotty Lee Calloway, 28, 3220 Lovers Lane, was arrested Wednesday on a capias charging him with failure to appear on theft under $500.
   * Anthony Peter Iles Jr., 26, 908 Charity Hill Rd., was arrested Thursday by CCSD Deputy Brad Hamm following a traffic stop. Iles was charged with DUI and violation of implied consent.
   * Sherri D. Wedel, 521 Brookwood Dr., Bristol, was arrested Thursday by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau following investigation into theft and forgery allegations. Wedel was charged with theft and 14 counts of forgery.
   * Patricia E. Loveless, 49, 129 Tester Rd., was issued a summons Tuesday by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Mike McIntosh after the officer was dispatched to Wal-Mart. Loss prevention personnel told the officer that Loveless attempted to shoplift two pairs of sunglasses. She was issued a summons for shoplifting.
   * James D. Bass, 39, 212 S. Sycamore St., was issued a citation Tuesday by EPD Ptl. Mike McIntosh after the officer was dispatched to Wal-Mart. Loss prevention personnel told the officer that Bass attempted to conceal an anti-fungal cream inside a plastic bag. He was issued a citation for shoplifting.
   * Milton "Jerry" Cook, 27, 315 Delaware St., was arrested Tuesday by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau on charges of forgery and theft. The arrest was the result of investigation into the theft of personal checks from a mailbox. Several checks were forged and passed at three banks in Johnson City. Cook was charged with four counts of forgery and four counts of theft under $500.
   * Steven L. Rollins, 48, 812 Hamilton St., Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau and charged with theft over $1,000 following investigation into the theft of a vehicle on March 16 from 120 W. Main St.
   * Larry Stewart, 43, Suncrest Drive, Lot 2, was arrested Tuesday by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau and charged with theft over $500 following investigation into money taken from Village Pets, 711 W. Market St., Johnson City.
  
Indecent exposure

   * Martha Poole, 68, 117 Andrew Finney Rd., Butler, reported Thursday to CCSD Sgt. Tim Lowe that her 62-year-old neighbor was found standing naked in her garden, fondling himself, on April 2. Poole advised the officer that this is an ongoing problem.
  
Assault


   * Wendy Holden, 29, reported Wednesday to CCSD Sgt. Tim Lowe that while at Hampton Bait Shop she observed an unknown female yelling at her 8-year-old son for reasons unknown. Holden then had a physical altercation with the female and sustained a cut to her right eye, requiring seven stitches.
  
Vandalism

   * Elizabethton Animal Shelter personnel reported Wednesday to CCSD Sgt. Tim Lowe that someone broke the front glass out of the animal shelter building. Two rocks were found on the floor inside the office.
   * Judith King, 45, 1272 Bluefield Ave., Apt. E106, and Denise Bowers Blevins, 49, Apt. E109, reported Wednesday to EPD Ptl. Jason McCall that the right rear tires on their vehicles had been cut. The cuts appeared to have been made by a sharp instrument. Blevins already had taken her vehicle to a tire shop to have the tire replaced. A thin silver knife tip was found in the tire.
