Arrests
* Paul D. Anshutz, 22, 117 Valley Place Drive,
Gray, was arrested Wednesday by Elizabethton Police Department
Patrol Officer Richard Haney. Anshutz was charged with driving
on a revoked license.
* Daniel Jay Vanhouten, 37, 347 Hwy. 91, Apt.
#2, was arrested Tuesday by Carter County Sheriff's Department
Sgt. Keith Range. Vanhouten was charged with disorderly conduct.
* Kenneth Wayne Hopkins, 32, 107 Carl Hopkins
Court, Johnson City, was arrested Wednesday by CCSD Deputy
Jeff Markland. Hopkins was charged with DUI.
* Johnathon C. Hawk, 30, 205 Mayfield Drive,
was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland. Hawk was
charged with violation of probation and failure to appear
on charges of public intoxication.
* Thomas Ray Cox Jr., 20, 209 Riverview Drive,
was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Deputy Jeff Markland. Cox was
charged with violation of probation, failure to appear on
charges of aggravated burglary and theft over $500, and failure
to appear in criminal court.
* James Roscoe Russell, 33, 385 Whaley Town Road,
Butler, was arrested Wednesday by CCSD Sgt. Keith Range. Russell
was charged with aggravated assault/domestic violence and
assault of a minor.
* Joseph Yon, 25, 412 Lee Ave., was arrested
Wednesday by the CCSD. Yon was charged with violation of probation
at the Carter County Jail.
* Roy A. Perry Jr., 20, 1012 Bristol Hwy., Elizabethton,
was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Sgt. Bobby Canter. Perry was
charged with vandalism.
* Richard Lamont Curtis, 1005 Doll Ave., Maryville,
was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Officer Thomas Smith. Lamont
was charged with the sale of Schedule II Cocaine.
* Richard Glen Taylor, 41, 1507 Red Brush Road,
Mountain City, was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Officer Matt Lunceford.
Taylor was charged with the sale of counterfeit drugs.
* Ronald Edward Morris, 24, 1916 Powder Branch
Road, was arrested Wednesday by CCSD Investigator Audrey Covington.
Morris was charged with three counts of forgery.
