Arrests

   * Ellen Tabitha Williams, 22, 1252 Bluefield Ave., Apt. L-1, was arrested Monday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Laverne Julian on a charge of custodial interference and disorderly conduct.
   * Jason Richardson, 19, 189 Miller Hollow Road, Roan Mountain, was arrested Monday by CCSD Deputy Audrey Covington on a charge of aggravated burglary, theft over $500 and vandalism.
   * Kimberly Jefferson, 33, 1443 Powder Branch Road, was arrested Monday by Elizabethton Police Department Officer Mike Sproviero on a charge of DUI.
   * Jackie Lynn Proffitt, 41, 142 White Road, was arrested Monday by EPD Sgt. Brian Fraley on a charge of public intoxication.
  
Accident


   * CCSD Sgt. L.C. Tester responded to Cloudland Drive, Roan Mountain, on Monday in reference to an auto accident. Upon arrival, Sgt. Tester spoke with Amber Dawn Morgan, 151 Mine Hollow Road, Roan Mountain, driver of the vehicle. Morgan testified that the accident was the result of her attempting to avoid a friend who was standing in the roadway.
  
Burglary

   * Richard Wards, 273 Toll Branch Road, reported Monday to the CCSD that someone had broken into his residence. The glass out of the back door had been broken and speakers had been stolen.
   * Eloise Birchfield, 854 Hampton Creek Road, Roan Mountain, reported Monday to the CCSD that someone had been in her vehicle while it was parked at Bob's Dairyland, Roan Mountain. Items missing included a cassette case with tapes, a tobacco box with rolled pennies, a Ziploc container with Sudifed and cough drops, and a tray of Impatiens plants.
   * Brenda Kish, 103 Renee Drive, Johnson City, reported Monday to CCSD that someone had taken her stereo out of her vehicle which was parked at her residence.
   * Kelsie Bailey, 141 Captain Ave., reported Monday to CCSD that someone had broken into her home. A back window had been broken and an Emerson VCR, three VCR tapes, and some CDs were stolen.
  
 Theft

   * Amber Lambert, 1254 Old Bristol Hwy., Elizabethton, reported Monday to CCSD that an unknown person took a 24-inch bicycle from her yard.
  
Vandalism

   * Roger Forbes, 708 Holston Ave., reported to EPD Thursday that several juveniles had been harassing him. Forbes stated that the juveniles stole two reflectors from his yard and tossed them into a field across the street.

   * Callie Marie Berry, 608 Locust St., Apt. # 23, reported to EPD Monday that her 1990 Plymouth Colt had been vandalized. Berry stated that a white fluid had been poured over the hood of the vehicle several times and a swastika had been drawn on the hood.
