Arrests

   * Robert Lee Hensley, 24, 1616 Seminole Drive, Apt. 111, Johnson City, was arrested Saturday by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau and charged with vehicular assault, second-offense DUI, and violation of implied consent. The arrest resulted from an accident on West State of Franklin Road near Spring Street. According to police, Hensley was driving his Dodge pickup on State of Franklin when his vehicle struck a pedestrian crossing in a crosswalk at 2:29 a.m. Hensley was being held in Washington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing on Monday.
   * Brandy Garrett, 21, 1112 Carroll Creek Road, Johnson City, was arrested Friday by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau and charged with obtaining narcotics by fraud. The arrest resulted from investigation into Garrett entering CVS Pharmacy March 20 and obtaining the narcotic hydrocodone by using a forged prescription. She is set for arraignment Monday.
   * Javon Lewis, 26, 615 Hamilton St., was arrested Friday by officers of Johnson City Police Bureau on a charge of aggravated assault. The arrest stemmed from officers responding to a fight call in the area of Lakewood Village Apartments, where Lewis was said to have assaulted another person with a wooden club. He fled the scene on foot and was apprehended by officers a short time later.
