Arrests
* Don Lee Baldwin, 46, 116 W. Walnut St., Johnson
City, was arrested Tuesday by Elizabethton Police Department
Ptl. Mike McIntosh following a traffic stop. A warrant check
showed Baldwin was wanted in Carter County on warrants issued
Oct. 25, 2001, following a traffic accident. Baldwin was charged
with second-offense driving on revoked license, and was served
warrants charging him with second-offense DUI, driving on
revoked license, and violation of implied consent.
* Jerry Ray Oaks, 19, 920 S. Second St., was
arrested Tuesday by CCSD Deputy Donald White on a capias charging
him with failure to serve jail time.
* Clarence Justin Light, 19, 107 Hamby Road,
was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Deputy Tom Skeans on a warrant
charging him with violation of probation.
Vandalism
* Ellis Wortham of Pinecrest Christian Church,
Woodland Drive, Johnson City, reported Tuesday to CCSD Deputy
Kenny Cornett that sometime in the past few days, someone
broke into the church storage building, cut all of the window
screens, and broke a couple of wooden doors.
Lost/found
* Thomas Ingram, 1711 Brookline Ave., Dayton,
Ohio, reported Tuesday to CCSD Deputy Johnny Miller that he
lost his Verizon cellular phone sometime around 6 p.m. Friday
in the vicinity of Capt. Jack's restaurant, Highway 19E, Hampton.
