Arrests

* Robert F. Hoss III, 32, 237 Rome Hollow Road, was arrested Monday by CCSD Deputy Albert Nave and charged with assault under domestic violence.

Vandalism

* Tim Franklin, 35, 128 Carr Hollow Road, reported Friday to CCSD Sgt. Tim Lowe that someone threw a handful of screws in his driveway.

Burglary

* James Glass, 28, 116 Brice Lane, Johnson City, reported Sunday to CCSD Deputy Dean Jones that his wife's vehicle had broken down and she had parked it under the I-181 underpass. Glass said he was coming home from work and found glass beside the vehicle and stopped to check it. It was found that someone had broken out the side window and entered the vehicle, removing several CD's, an air compressor, book bags and a student ID.
  
Theft

  
* David R. Escobar, 33, 255 Jenkins Hollow Road, reported Friday to EPD Ptl. Jennifer Mayberry that someone had taken 120 Xanex from his vehicle at Scotty's Auto Sales.
   * EPD Ptl. Kevin Cable responded Saturday to Wal-Mart regarding a shoplifting call. A store employee told the officer that around 8:25 a.m. he observed a male subject "digging" through the Skoal and a female subject squatting down, tearing security tags off cartons of cigarettes. When confronted, both subjects fled the store and got into an older model Volkswagen. While fleeing the store, the female subject dropped approximately 14 cartons of cigarettes, according to the store employee.
