Arrests

   * Cassandra Dawn Robinson, 30, 142 Keith Road, Bristol, Tenn., was arrested Thursday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Sgt. Tim Lowe following investigation of a traffic accident on U.S. Highway 19E. Robinson was charged with DUI, driving on revoked license and failure to yield.
   * Jared Ryan Young, 21, 3706 Timberlake Road, Johnson City, was arrested Thursday by Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Mike McIntosh after the officer investigated a call of a suspicious person at Reeser Trailer Park. Young was charged with possession of Schedule VI after a search revealed a baggie of what was believed to be marijuana in his pants pocket.
   * Kenneth Trivette, 37, 2226 W. G. St., was arrested Thursday by EPD Ptl. Michael Merritt after the officer investigated a speeding vehicle. Trivette was observed traveling 52 mph in a 30 mph speed zone. The officer attempted to stop the vehicle on Gap Creek Road but the driver continued on and pulled into Holiday Market Apartments. When the officer arrived, he found the vehicle parked between the apartment buildings. The driver, Trivette, had fled the scene and was located inside apartment 12. He was charged with speeding and evading arrest.
   * Eric James Hall, 21, 1298 Bluefield Ave., Apt. K4, was arrested Thursday by EPD Ptl. Jason McCall on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Stephen Napier, 19, Bldg. 4, Apt. 7, Mel Circle, Johnson City; Timothy Hamilton, Bldg. 3, Apt. 5, Mel Circle; and Ricky Eaddy, 25, Bldg. 3, Apt. 1, Mel Circle, were arrested Thursday by officers of Johnson City Police Department and charged with aggravated burglary and felony vandalism following investigation into a burglary at a local residence where the apartment was vandalized.
   * Keith Todd Tolley, 32, 153 Jackson Ave., was arrested Thursday by CCSD Deputy Chad Grindstaff on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
   * Gary Dewayne Hopson, 22, 721 Blue Springs Road, was arrested Thursday by CCSD Deputy Kenneth Cornett after he and Deputy Gregg Nave responded to a domestic disturbance at the residence. Hopson was charged with disorderly conduct.
   * Carroll R. Brandon "Rowdy," 19, 4260 Hwy. 19E, was arrested Thursday by officers of Johnson City Police Department following investigation into the Oct. 28 robbery of a Papa John's Pizza Delivery driver. Brandon was arrested without incident at 1706 E. Millard St., Johnson City, and charged with aggravated robbery and destruction of city property.

Vandalism

   * Russ Satterfield, 112 Pete Slagle Road, Watauga, reported Thursday to CCSD Deputy Janice Mitchell that sometime during the night someone shoved a large dead opossum into the family mailbox. Mrs. Satterfield said she went to the mailbox and opened the door, finding the opossum around 9:30 a.m.
