Arrests

   * Timothy Lee Shelton, 31, 601 W. C St., was arrested Tuesday by Carter County Sheriff's Department Deputy Brad Hamm on a warrant from General Sessions Court charging him with violation of probation.
   * Mark Allen Oliver, 28, 123 Reeser Road, Johnson City, was arrested Tuesday by CCSD Deputy Todd Hamm on a warrant from General Sessions Court charging him with violation of probation.

Fraud

   * Carolyn S. Barlow, 48, 389 Cripple Creek Loop, reported Tuesday to Elizabethton Police Department Ptl. Mike Sproviero that she went to CVS Pharmacy to refill her prescription and was told that it had been filled on Sept. 19. Records showed that someone had called in the prescription and had picked it up that evening, signing his name as "John Stout." Barlow said she doesn't know a John Stout and did not call in the prescription.

Domestic

   * EPD Ptl. Kevin Cable responded Tuesday to a domestic disturbance at the home of Shane L. Smith, 27, 404 W. G. St. Smith told the officer that he and his stepson had gotten into a verbal argument and that the boy had shoved him. The boy then went outside, saying he was going to bust the windows out of his car. Smith said when he went outside, the boy punched him in the left eye, got him in a headlock and choked him. He then left the residence. Smith had a bruised eye and redness around his neck.

Lost/stolen

   * Kathy Ledford, 40, 137 Spice Hollow Road, Johnson City, reported Tuesday to EPD Ptl. Brooke Mullins that she pulled her wallet out of her purse while at the courthouse, laid it on a chair next to her, and then forgot to pick it back up. She left the area and when she returned to look for it, could not locate it.
