JCPD arrests two on rape charge

   JOHNSON CITY -- Officers with the Johnson City Police Department have charged two men with aggravated rape following an investigating an incident that reportedly occurred over the weekend.
   Police reported receiving a complaint of the rape of a female subject on Sunday at a West Maple Street residence. The alleged victim stated she had been talking to two male subjects in a friend's apartment when they allegedly raped her, according to police.
   After interviewing the victim, witnesses and the subjects, police arrested Jeary Edward Leary, 19, 514 W. Locust St., and Justin Wayne Pike, 34, 418 Hamilton St., and charged both with aggravated rape.
   Both men are currently being held in the Washington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing scheduled for today in General Sessions Court.
