ATF agents serve warrant in Mountain City

From Staff Reports

MOUNTAIN CITY -- Agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms served a search warrant on an army surplus store here on Wednesday.
An ATF agent confirmed officials served a search warrant at Army Surplus and Variety, 103 W. Main St., but did not say what agents were looking for at the business.
The agent declined to give his name and deferred comment to the ATF's Washington office. Officials in that office did not immediately return a telephone call.
According to a document filed at the Johnson County's Register of Deeds office, Bill W. Wallace and Billie F. Wallace of Mountain City own the building that houses the business. A telephone call and message left for Billie Wallace was not immediately returned on Wednesday night.
