SCSO searching for alleged robber armed with screwdriver

   Officials with the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office are investigating the armed robbery of a convenience store on Bristol Caverns Highway Sunday night.
   According to a news release issued Monday, a store clerk advised investigators that a white male in his 20s entered the store armed with a screwdriver and demanded money. The alleged suspect was described as having black hair and blue eyes, and wearing a black coat with a black hood and blue jeans. The suspect was reportedly wearing a white surgical-type mask, according to the SCSO.
   The suspect fled the store on foot onto Bristol Caverns Highway with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to police.
