AmeriCorps to work on Roan Mountain State Park

From Staff Reports

A ten person team from AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) will begin renovation on a park of the Appalachian Trail in Roan Mountain State Park. Work on the 25 mile stretch of land will take place from Oct. 28 through Nov. 22.
