Florida man arrested on fugitive charges

   According to Johnson City police officials, a Florida man was arrested Friday on fugitive charges for failure to appear and possession of methamphetamine in Crawford County, Mo.
   Mark A. Twilegar, 38, was arrested at 126 Valentine Circle, Telford, after the Washington County Sheriff's Department received information concerning his whereabouts. Twilegar was taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
   Twilegar is entered in the National Crime Information Center as missing under suspicious circumstances by the Lee County, Florida Sheriff's Office.
   A second individual was also reported missing with Twilegar. Because foul play is suspected, Washington County investigators have been assisting Lee County, Fla. officials to locate the second individual.
   Twilegar is being held on a $152,000 bond. The fugitive charge was set at $100,000. Additional charges were placed Tuesday for criminal impersonation and manufacture and possession of a Schedule II (methamphetamine) drug stemming from his Friday night arrest.
   Twilegar's next court date is set for Thursday, Sept. 26 at 9 a.m. in Washington County Sessions Court.
