Sheriff's department investigating Bear Hollow stabbing incident

The Carter County Sheriff's Department is investigating a stabbing incident that occurred during a melee at a Bear Hollow Road residence on Saturday night. According to authorities, no arrests have yet been made.
The stabbing occurred when CCSD Lt. B.L. Huffman responded to 108 Bear Hollow Road at approximately 8:01 p.m. Saturday in reference to a fight. On arrival, Huffman reported finding Donald Andrews, 50, of the residence being treated by paramedics with the Carter County Rescue Squad for minor injuries.
Huffman spoke with a witness, Charles Gant, who stated that Allan Ross Campbell and his father, Allen G. Campbell, of Hampton, came to his residence and allegedly assaulted Andrews. Gant told Huffman that Andrews owed Ross Campbell $100.
Huffman later went to Sycamore Shoals Hospital where Ross Campbell had gone with a large cut on his neck and two on his back, according to the report. Ross Campbell advised Huffman that he and his father went to the residence. He alleged Andrews had come out of a shed and struck him on the head with a stick. A fight ensued, and Ross Campbell alleged Andrews had cut him during the fight, according to the report.
When questioned about the incident by Huffman, Andrews stated he did not remember what happened.
According to Huffman's report, Allen G. Campbell stated he had gone to the residence with his son and someone had come out of a shed and began hitting Ross Campbell. The investigation into the incident was turned over to CCSD Investigator Todd Hamm. The incident remains under investigation, according to CCSD officers.
