Washington County police investigate
shooting

Washington County Police Department officers
are investigating a shooting that occurred Monday on U.S.
Highway 107 in Chuckey, Tenn. Two men were wounded and a third
was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault,
according to authorities.
Police were called to a home, and, when they
arrived, the two gunshot victims had left the scene for treatment.
Gerald Morrow, of Greeneville, was shot in the leg, according
to police, and Mitchell Roberts, of Afton, Tenn. was shot
in the arm.
Investigators said the shooting occurred during
an argument over damages to a vehicle.
Roy Wayne Royal, of Chuckey, was charged in the
shooting and is being held in the Washington County Detention
Center on a $100,000 bond.
