One injured in Doe River rafting accident

   According to information released from the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, one person was injured Monday afternoon in a rafting accident on the Watauga River in Carter County.
   The accident occurred around 3:30 p.m. when a tree reportedly fell from the bank of the river onto the raft, injuring a passenger.
   The victim was airlifted to the Johnson City Medical Center and no word had been received on their condition at press time. Authorities also weren't releasing identification.
   The accident is currently under investigation by the TWRA.
