High speed chase through two counties ends in wreck, one injured

   A high speed car chase through two counties ended in a wreck Saturday afternoon. One juvenile was arrested and another hospitalized.
   Unicoi County authorities said the chase started in Erwin just after 1 p.m. when a red Dodge Neon tried to out run a Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper.
   According to police, a male juvenile driving the car hit another vehicle near Grindstaff Chevrolet in Elizabethton. Police said the juvenile then ran off, leaving his injured female companion. Grindstaff employees later tackled the youth, police said.
   The driver of the vehicle is being held in the Johnson City Detention Center. The female juvenile was taken to a local hospital and is listed in stable condition.
   The driver of the other vehicle involved in the crash was uninjured.
