Two injured in Gap Creek Road accident

   A Hampton woman and a Johnson City man were injured around 5:30 a.m. Thursday during a one-vehicle accident on Gap Creek Road/Highway 361.
   According to Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Doug Brewer, the driver of a 1988 Dodge Caravan was traveling east on Gap Creek Road when she drove off the right-hand side of the roadway and struck a concrete driveway barrier.
   The driver, Anita Williamson, 42, 1104 Rittertown Rd., Hampton, was air-lifted to Johnson City Medical Center by Wings Air Rescue where she was treated for injuries and later released.
   A passenger in the vehicle, Jeff Campbell of Johnson City, was transported to the Medical Center by Carter County Rescue Squad. He was listed in fair condition Thursday evening.
   According to Trooper Brewer, neither the driver nor the passenger were wearing seat belts. Alcohol was involved in the crash, Brewer said.
