Two males arrested in connection with burglaries

   BLOUNTVILLE -- Sullivan County Sheriff's Office detectives arrested two teenage males and filed several charges against them in connection with a string of burglaries in Blount County.
   Larry Hutchins, 19, and a 17-year-old male have each been charged with four counts of burglary, two counts of auto burglary, three counts of theft under $500, two counts of theft over $500 and one count of theft over $1,000. These charges stem from several burglaries and thefts in the Orebank community and surrounding areas of Kingsport.
   According to reports, detectives received information that Hutchins and the juvenile were taking the stolen items to a residence in Bloomingdale and selling them. The people who live at the residence turned over what property they had to investigators and then informed them that the two had also been selling stolen items in Rogersville. Detectives followed that information and recovered more of the missing property in Rogersville.
   Some of the items have been identified including weedeaters, generators, boat trolling motors, hunting tree stands, a camcorder and several other items. There are still items that have yet to be identified by the victims and some items yet to be recovered.
   No court date was available for Hutchins or the juvenile.
