J.C. man arrested for drug possession

   JOHNSON CITY -- A 35-year-old man was arrested and cited with multiple charges including felony possession of narcotics for resale following a routine traffic stop here Monday night.
   Timothy Seward, of 1606 E. Fairview Ave., was arrested by Johnson City Police Department officers after being stopped for a violation of the tint law. When officers ran a check on Seward's driver's license, it was found that Seward was operating the motor vehicle on a revoked license.
   After Seward was taken into custody, officers took an inventory of the car before transporting it to the impound lot and discovered 33.5 grams of marijuana along with measuring scales in the vehicle.
   Seward has been charged with felony possession of Schedule VI narcotics for resale, second offense driving on a revoked license, possession of drug paraphernalia, violation of the tint law, violation of state registration, failure to provide vehicle registration and violation of the financial responsibility law.
