ETSU to sponsor summer food program

   The 2002 Upward Bound Program at East Tennessee State University will receive money from the U.S. Department of Agriculture Summer Food Program.
   The Upward Bound Program will run June 2 through July 3, where there will be no exclusions of participants based on race, national origin, age, gender or physical limitations. Three meals will be served each day during the month-long program.
   Students who are eligible for reduced or free school lunches, and are participants in the Upward Bound summer residential program at ETSU will receive the free meals. Food will be served to Carter, Johnson, Sullivan, Washington and Unicoi counties as part of the program.
