Crowe, Cole to be at Chamber legislative breakfast

The Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce Annual Legislative Breakfast will be held at the Truman Clark Health Education Annex at the Carter County/Elizabethton Health Department on Friday.
   The breakfast will begin at 7:15 a.m. Incoming Chamber President Robert Reedy will welcome attendees and make the introductions.
   State Sen. Rusty Crowe and State Rep. Ralph Cole are scheduled to attend the breakfast and will answer questions from those in attendance. Barton Edens, WBEJ radio, will ask the questions.
   The Rev. Dr. Steven Meyerhoff, pastor of Memorial Presbyterian Church, will offer the invocation.
   Elizabethton Police Chief Roger Deal and Sheriff John Henson of the Carter County Sheriff's Department will present the colors. Carter County Executive Truman Clark will lead the Pledge of Allegiance.
   Andrea Childress, East Tennessee State University, will perform "God Bless America."
   Tickets, which cost $10 per person, may only be purchased at the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce office, and tickets will not be available at the door.
