Bristol police arrest two in narcotics investigation

   BRISTOL -- The Bristol Tennessee Police Department has arrested two individuals in connection with an ongoing narcotics investigation, according to a police report released Thursday.
   Officers with the department's Street Crimes Unit arrested Howard "Dee" Oliver, 50, 372 Henson Lane, and Tammy Browning Oliver, 35, 601 Moore Street, both of Bristol, on Thursday following a traffic stop at the corner of Georgia Avenue and East State Street, according to the report.
   Police reported finding approximately 30 grams of what was alleged to be cocaine and 18 grams of crack cocaine. Police also reported finding various pills and drug packaging materials.
   Both individuals were charged with possession of drugs for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia.
   Police also reported seizing a 1992 Dodge Shadow, $900 in cash and numerous items of jewelry.
